We're doing print-making in my art class
and I was so excited, cuz I kinda feel like Andy ^^;;
even though we're doing it on ummm linoleum or something (like a giant stamp), and I'm pretty sure he did silk screening (but I could be wrong), print making is still awsome

I took a Painting and Printmaking art class first trimester this year. It was cool. We did the linolium prints, which were pretty much awesome. I seriously fell in love with printmaking. We never had time to do silk screen print though, which is what Andy did, since it was also a painting class. I didn't like the painting part so much XD
I'm going to take Adv. Printmaking next year : D

hmm.
we haven't done much yet, becaues its studio art 1 (which means its full of freshman expecting an easy A), and for some reason, finding a cool picture, doing two sketches, drawing it on linoleum, then going over it in marker takes a week for most my class to do.. sweatdrop sweatdrop
I'd take a print making class, but I don't think I can sweatdrop crying

Ugh. I hate cutting the damn stuff (lineoleum, that is.) Comes out terrible looking for me.

I kind of thought it was fun XD duno why. The hard part for me is thinking of an idea that would look good as a print.

Yeah, thats always the hard part.......I did a Jack Skellington christmas card! I messed up on the stipes though...CAUSE OF THE DAMN KNIFE. Oh well, at least other people are good at it.

ok. so its a camel head, and then, two pyramids.
hahahah, that sounds so lame
i hope it looks good though, it might end up being the only artwork i'll take home from school (i hate taking home work, i usually donate it or throw it out)

I thin the camel head and pyramids would look good...geometric shapes always look good.
Never, ever, ever throw out your work...no matter how much YOU think it sucks. Everyone always thinks their own art sucks, when it's really awesome. Also, old art can be used for ideas and references...you can also always go back and improve a piece. : )
