even with new patches there will be hackers >_> so maplestory is just wasting their time..... i mean yeah new stuff is fine but hackers come back in about the first ten minutes that it gets patched.. just no point..

It's a funny level of dedication, if you think about it. They make a patch, change the code, fool the hackers for a bit while they muster up the resources to let us play.
Hackers, in retort, figure the code, rewrite again, make it easier to use, and start the whole process all over again.
Even if hackers are a blatant disregard to rules (and sometimes killers of our fun), you gotta give them the credit of being consistent..
And on Broa, my ranking keeps going up without me even signing on sometimes, so I also gotta give them credit for being CONSISTENTLY BANNED!
But in either case, I see the patches as more for cash shop. Maybe that's just me.
