Whoo, I'm somewhat stressed these days, and I've decided to relieve the stress by creating a story filled with violence and death. Don't worry, though. Just like American television, I won't include any sexual content in the story. It'll also have vulgar language because I've decided to start swearing again, at least to write the story.
Anyhow, the story will feature characters from the guild, just like G's story (which is where I got the idea in the first place, so I'm plagarizing or something). I'll update a chapter whenever I feel like it, although I'll try to make at least one chapter a week. The most recent chapter will be posted on the front page, while the previous ones will be put on my mule account's journal.
For anyone who's wondering, the story takes place in a random town and is a dark comedy filled with laughter, joy, happy children and dead people. It's heavily influenced by Japanese manga and anime, and might possibly have a penguin in it.
Anyone want to volunteer?
Finally, just to clairfy... the characters will have the names of those who volunteered, but they won't have the personality or look like the people whose names they have. They're just random personalities with your names. So don't take anything personally.
Volunteers are always welcome - if I can't fit you in, I can simply kill someone else off. XD

Characters[Q] starring as [Q]
A mysterious individual, no one knows what [Q] is thinking, and no one has ever tried. A lanky man in a tidy white suit and long black hair, [Q]'s distinguishing feature is a cloth tied to his face with the letter Q in red covering his face. Possessing extreme intelligence, [Q] enjoys toying around with opponents instead of simply finishing them off with his long knife.
Ismaru Windsoul starring as Ismaru Windsoul
A student in the 10th grade Sniperville Academy, Ismaru Windsoul aspires to be a master ninja, and is constantly seeking to prove his worth by killing other students. Despite his talent, however, he is weak under pressure, and often ends up making mistakes that result in the deaths of innocent bystanders. As a ninja, Ismaru is a master of swords, ninja stars and fist fighting.
Insomnesiac starring as Insomnesiac
A random student in Sniperville Academy, Insomnesiac is always trying to sleep, with little success. Having been cursed by a gypsy at a young age (she accidentally throw the gypsy's pet rock down a well), Insomnesiac is forced to live life in the boundary between sleep and reality. This has caused her skin to take on a pale tone, causing those around her to wonder if she is a zombie. Insomnesiac possesses no fighting skills, but her condition renders her incapable of feeling pain (although her body still takes damage). No one knows what grade Insomnesiac is in or if she is actually a student at all - records have shown that the first sighting of her was in 1934 - 63 years ago.
Heart Shaped Toastie starring as Heart Shaped Toastie
A student of Sniperville Academy in the 11th grade, Heart Shaped Toastie is known for her cheery personality and her unique Resonance Soul known as Phoenix Heart, which grants her the ability to come back to life after being killed. Toastie has an obsession with hearts, and her outfit is the proof - Toastie's right eye is covered with a heart-shaped eyepatch, and she is adorned with earrings and necklaces with hearts on them. Tall and slender with short purple hair, Toastie makes a deep impression on those who meet her.
FortenraAskasa starring as Fortenra Askasa
The protagonist of the story and a 10th grader, Fortenra Askasa is somewhat of a typical male lead - loyal, brave, optimistic and trusting. Besides that, he is also sadistic, sarcastic and somewhat romantic. With long white hair in the form of a ponytail and unusual eyes (right eye is red, left eye is green), Fortenra is quite charming when he wants to be. A deadly fighter with his wires, Fortenra's enemies usually end up in stitches - after he has ripped them apart or littered their body with strings. It is rumored that he has feelings for a certain 11th grader...

A 12th grader of Sniperville Academy, SaXe is an honor roll student wtih top grades and the president of the student council. Popular among fellow students for his good humor, looks, brains and the like, SaXe is almost always seen with a book in his hand and a group of adoring fans following him. Somewhat eccentric, SaXe can often be found on the rooftop of the Academy talking to his fellow students on the benefits of pandas on the economy. A great believer in second chances, SaXe is the moral center of Sniperville Academy, and many dread the day he graduates and leaves them. SaXe is the perfect gentleman, dressed in a suit and a top hat to boot and with flowing golden hair and silver eyes made more clear by his classical glasses. SaXe's weapons of choice seem to be a pack of cards, although he has never been seen using them, or in a fight for that matter.

A master of disguises and tricks, Shoy Don King is a clown, modelling himself after his idol, Donald McRonald. The twin brother of SaXe, Shoy looks exactly like his brother, save his hair, which is slightly shorter. As such, Shoy will sometimes fill in for SaXe, and few can tell the difference. Due to his life as a clown, Shoy is extremely agile and athletic. Few can tell what this enigmatic clown is thinking, as he often hides his feelings behind a smile that no one can read.
`Aine Chievious starring as Aine Chievious and Opal Koboi
A unique student with two people in one body, Aine Chieveious serves as the one in control most of the time. A kind and loving student, Aine is somewhat naive and shy, and said to have powerful mystical powers sleeping within her. On the other hand, Opal Koboi only appears when Aine is threatened, brutally slaughtering all those who seek to harm her counterpart with a long Japanese sword. While Aine and Opal reside in the same vessel, their bodies are different - when Aine is in control she wears glasses, has long and neat brown hair, and is slightly slender, while when Opal is in control her hair turns black and becomes spiky, as well as being of average build.
Roy Salamandra starring as Dr. Roy Salamandra
A mad scientist in Sniperville, Roy Salamandra is well-known for his tendency to change genders as a result of his mind-bending super special awesome chemicals. Although not a formidable fighter, Roy has poisoned his fair share of people, and his chemical bombs are quite deadly. For all his / her intellectual genius, however, Roy is constantly making mistakes and is quite clumsy. Roy is always seen with his / her lab coat on, and the constant transformations have made it hard to tell if Roy is a man or a woman, save his / her body.
Marly-Chan starring as MC Marly-Chan
An MC working in The Sniped Man's Bar, Marly-Chan is a master of freestyle rap, capable of freestyling with enough speed to blow the head off an enemy. An endangered species of hip hop artist known as Asian Rapper, Marly-Chan is also skilled in getting people to speak up and getting people fired up. She also has a photogenic memory - anything she comes in contact with, she memorizes forever.

The insane Vice Principal of Sniperville Academy, Magnius of the Chaos can often be seen popping in and out of random places. As a countermeasure, he has been put in a straightjacket, rendering him unable to use his arms or hands. His hair is long in the front, covering his entire face and reaching down to his chest. He always has an insane smile on his face, and numerous attempts have been made by concerned parents to have him fired, but with no success.
A Dragonflys Sin starring as Principal Dragonfly Sin
The somewhat paranoid Principal of Sniperville Academy, Dragonfly Sin prefers to operate in the shadows, allowing her underlings to carry out her orders. As the descendant of the man who first created Sniperville Academy, Sin carries on the tradition of her family. Few have ever seen her at all, and even fewer have lived to see the tale. According to rumors floating around, Sin is supposedly attempting to take over the town of Sniperville, though few actually believe that.
Edmond Dantes starring as Count Edmond Dantes of Monte Cristo
A reclusive count living in the center of town, Count Edmond Dantes of Monte Cristo enjoys sipping tea while formulating plans of revenge on those who betrayed him. Immensely wealthy and generous to those he does not deem as enemies, Edmond Dantes has considerable influence among the town's higher ups. Although he has a bodyguards to protect him, the Count is himself a capable fighter, having mastered the basics of fencing during his quest for revenge.
Mori Bokusochi starring as Detective Mori Bokusochi
A detective who lost his beloved popcicle (as in the ice-cream) to the Secret Agency, Detective Mori Bokusochi is constantly at odds with the mysterious organization, believing them to be responsible for his divorce (his wife could no longer stand him trying to look for a popsicle when he could simply have bought a new one). Quite perceptive, Mori is said to be gifted with the eyesight of the angels, being able to "read font 1 letters from five feet away", "catch the movements of one single strand of fur among many on a cat's back as it walks" and even "see through a rock through a thick fog". Despite being a detective, Mori does not enjoy using guns and instead opts to take down his enemies with an enormous hammer.
Sibeiko starring as General Sibeiko
The highest ranking official in the Secret Agency ever shown (the extreme higher-ups keep their identity a complete secret), General Sibeiko is a survivor of numerous battles, and has been known to kill off the weak in the Agency, claiming survival of the fittest. When he is not being a sadistic tyrant, however, he often visits the Sniperville Ice-Cream Parlor to chat with old friends and to enjoy a double scoop of a Chocolate Banana Explosion ice cream on a mint cone. As a experienced soldier, Sibeiko is a master of gun-fu, having trained his niece Nymphie everything he knows.
[N]ymphie starring as Special Agent #3 Nymphie
A special agent working for the Secret Agency, Nymphie is a no-nonsense and uptight woman with morals... or so she claims. In reality, she is more than willing to bend the rules and has often hacked into the Agency's computers in order to give herself a permanent raise, making her the highest paid agent ever despite the fact that she hardly does anything. Being an agent, Nymphie is skilled in fighting, especially gun-fu.
buzzkid24 starring as Special Agent #42 Buzz
The often cynical partner of Nymphie, Buzz seems to know everything, except the things that really matter. He claims to have found the answer to the universe, though few believe him. He also seems to be prepared for every situation - many missions succeeded due to his haibt of packing random objects into his bag. Unlike his partner Nymphie, Buzz dislikes using guns and instead fights with an ancient martial arts style revolving around the use of a long pike.
Amigo_amigo_amigo starring as Special Agent #AAA Amigo
One of the highest ranking agents, the triple letters, of the Secret Agency, Amigo has much experience. Specializing in disguises, Amigo has never been seen in the same clothes or with the same face twice, making people wonder if one called Amigo even exists at all. His fighting style is constantly changing, and as such, is unpredictable. The only thing to remain consistent with all of Amigo's disguises are his love of McRonald's Mango Kiwi Citrus Strawberry Carrot Smoothies and his pet ostrich Bob.

In short, Sylfaen the head chef of Sniperville Academy who called herself Sylph, with the help of Buzz and Nymphie and an unknown stranger who has yet to make a full appearance in the story and is thus unknown to the reader (though the protagonists know who said person is) defeated Bob the assassin. Where did I hear the name Bob before? I'm pretty sure I heard it recently..." Insomnesiac, who was stuck in the concrete during the battle (with only her head sticking out) had on an expressionless face. "Bob the bomber ran away... I'm pretty sure he reminds me of the name Bob. I just can't remember why..." "Hey, kids! What are you talking about?" Grinning cheerfully and covered in blood from head to toe (not her blood, of course), Sylfaen ran over to the protagonists, who flinched. Even Insomnesiac showed signs of fear. Understandable, as they had seen what she was truly capable of and what she was truly like in the battle against Bob. You, as the reader, will most likely never fine out what happened. As such, you are lucky. If you had seen what the head chef had done you would have been scarred for life. Noticing the reactions, the head chef pouted. "Ah, come on, guys. I didn't really mean everything I said, you know? I don't really put-" "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!" Screaming at the top of his lungs, Ismaru darted off, running blindly until he ran into a wall. "Oof!" While watching Sylfaen walking over to help Ismaru, Fortenra turned to Toastie with a worried expression on his face. "Do you really think she... you know?" Toastie shrugged. "True or false, I'm not touching her meatloaf anymore. I'm going to start packing lunches from home. Do not want. And stuff." "Yeah, but if you do that, she might get offended. And then she might..." Fortenra's face grew white simply thinking about what he had seen Sylfaen do to Bob. Death would have been a mercy compared to... that. The young man suddenly felt compassion and pity towards Bob, who's regenerating skills had caused him to go through Sylfaen's... attacks? No, they could not be called attacks. They were something much more... savage. Evil. Deadly. Totally and completely ******** up. Slowly, the four (Fortenra, Insomnesiac, Toastie and Aine) turned to look at Ismaru, who was shaking wildly. When Sylfaen touched him on the shoulder, he fainted and fell to the ground, foaming. The four then turned away, taking care not to look back. "Poor Ismaru. He's going to need a lot of therapy," remarked Fortenra. The three others nodded (or, to be precise, two - Insomnesiac's condition prevented her from doing so) and looked to the ground. Standing up, Fortenra dusted himself and turned away. "Anyways, it's getting late, so I'll be going now." "Me, too. I don't want to be here any longer." Agreeing, Toastie also stood up, and walked away, followed by Aine, leaving Insomnesiac in the ground. Insomnesiac watched as the two special agents (Buzz and Nymphie, but she had no idea who they were) walked into a bar. Turning around, she spotted Sylfaen carrying Ismaru away. She shuddered, and prayed for Ismaru's safety. He was annoying, but no one deserved... that. It was after the sun began to set that Insomnesiac realized she was all alone, still stuck in the concrete. She sighed. "... Bleh." All previous entries will go in my mule account's journal. Locations
The story takes place in the small but extremely populated town of Sniperville, where the death tolls are high and the life insurance rates are even higher! The history of the town will be revealled as the story progresses, and oh what a story it'll be!
Sniperville Academy: Sniperville Academy is where all the children and teens of Sniperville go to learn things that will often help them in life, and also some things that will allow them to make connections in the underworld, therefore insuring that students are given the chance to make their family proud by becoming drug overlords, shady assassins or politicians. The school is run by Principal A Dragonflysin and Vice-Principal Magnius of the Chaos. All the classrooms for all grades (Preschool to 12th) are located in the Academy, which itself makes up of half of the town.
McRonalds: A fast food chain opened up by an insane clown named Donald McRonald, McRonalds is the most popular fast food joint in Sniperville (surpassing Mandy's, Kentucky Boiled Chicken, Munchkin Donuts and the likes). Known for its cheap prices, good service (only half the staff were convicted of murder) and low death rate (4% death of food poisoning, compared to Mandy's rate of 35% or the 100% death rate of Burger Queen), McRonalds is often where students go to talk, laugh and throw poison-tipped daggers at each other.
The Sniped Man's Bar: The Sniped Man's Bar is the go-to for the citizens of age of Sniperville, known for serving top-quality beers and cheap prices. Despite being a bar, it is more like a nightclub, complete with a DJ and MC. Many journeying mysterious figures have been known to frequent the bar in search of information, as gossip is as common as blood, which often spills when fights are had. A penguin can often be seen in the corner of the bar, though what it does no one knows.
The Secret Agency: Despite it's shadowy name, the Secret Agency's buildings are located right next to the Sniperville Academy, with the words "Secret Agency Headquarters" in gigantic letters on the front. The Secret Agency is known for being secretive, perhaps to levels in which one cannot even comprehend, for those who have attempted to find out meet with secrecy regarding a secret contract to keep the secret a secret. Despite that, the Secret Agency is always willing to secretly recruit secret agents, as long as said secret agents promise to keep secrets regarding the big secret of the Secret Agency.
Mansion of Monte Cristo: A gigantic mansion owned by the Count Edmond Dantes of Monte Cristo, the Mansion of Monte Cristo is situationed in the middle of Sniperville, truly a sight to behold. It is almost always open to guests, where the host, the Count, offers hopitality to his guests. It also serves as the town's City Hall, as the Count has kindly offered the use of his mansion for town meetings.
Sniperville Orphanage: Despite the fact that it is an orphanage, the Sniperville Orphanage is home to numerous children who are not orphans, due to the fact that many parents leave their children there in order to more freely pursue a life of crime. Run by an organization of firearm-wielding nuns and priests, the Sniperville Orphanage is in reality the safest place to be in Sniperville, and also doubles as the church to the deeply religious few.
T.O.F.U. Quarters: A mysterious building located in a mysterious place, no one knows where the T.O.F.U. Quarters are located, save the members of the mysterious T.O.F.U. Organization. The key to locating the T.O.F.U. Quarters is said to be hidden within a certain penguin...

Resonance Soul
Resonance Soul is simply a word I made up at the spur of the moment for special abilities belonging to characters of the story, and each is unique in its own right. The Resonance Souls can generally be divided into the following groups: Arm and Leg, which deal with offensive powers, Body, which deals with defensive powers, and Head, which deals with mental powers. The currently known Resonance Souls are as follows.
Kalamari Leg: A Resonance Soul that grants the owner's leg extreme flexibility. The Kalamari Leg allows the owner to manipulate the muscle and bone structure and density in his or her leg, creating the ability to make unpredictable kicks. The Kalamari Leg also allows the user to extend his or her legs to extreme distances. Currently in the possession of Ismaru Windsoul.
Reality Head: A Resonance Soul that grants the owner complete control over reality, this can only be used when the owner has emotional stability. Thus, despite its potential for godhood, it is extremely flawed, even more so by the fact that those blessed with the Reality Head are cursed with a weak will. The Reality Head can create, destroy and even revive at the whim of the owner, although the range of the powers are limited to the owner's vision. Currently in the possession of Parking Lot.
Spark Arm: A Resonance Soul that gives its user the ability to turn their arms into unlimited source of pure electricity, allowing them to shock enemies with considerable force. The user can also "leave" sparks of electricity in the air, in order to unleash the Lightning Nova by simultaneously blowing them up at the same time. Currently in possession of Special Agent #3 Nymphie.
Feral Body: A Resonance Soul that gives its user powers of the wild, the Feral Body is perhaps best known for its unique ability of shape shifting, which allows its user to assume the form of either an animal or half-human half-animal. The animal from which the user gains power differs per user, as each user has unique traits that resonate with their animal counterparts. The Feral Body also gives its user the ability to communicate with wildlife. Currently in the possession of Secret Agent #42 Buzz.
Avalokiteshvara Arm: A Resonance Soul that gives its user the powers of the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. The Avalokiteshvara Arm is said to allow the user to "strike a thousand times in a split second" although in reality it is a much lower figure of 8. It also grants the user the ability to look into eleven different angles, giving them complete sight around their surroundings. Based off the thousand arms of Avalokiteshvara and his eleven faces. Currently in the possession of Opal Koboi.
Peace Leg: A Resonance Soul unique for its abilities that contradict with its nature (Leg and Arm type Resonance Souls are used for offensive attacks), the Peace Leg is purely defensive. The Peace Leg grants its user the ability Serenity Step, which, when used, allow the user to anticipate and avoid virtually any attack thrown at them. The Serenity Step, however, can only be used when the user is level-headed, and once the user loses his or her cool, the Serenity Step loses its effectiveness. The Peace Leg is also capable of leaving illusions as the user moves – an ability activated by lightly tapping the ground twice with one’s foot in the same place. Currently in the possession of Insomnesiac.
Decay Arm: A Resonance Soul that bestows upon its owner the power over decay, the Decay Arm can cause anything it comes into contact with to rot away, whether it be flesh, metal or other such materials. Even simply grazing can cause an infection, making the Decay Arm a truly deadly Resonance Soul. The Decay Arm must be activated in order to be used, and when used, has the side effect of slowly cutting away the life of its user. Currently in the possession of Fortenra Askasa.
Type-2 Resonance Soul
Type-2 Resonance Souls are enhanced Resonance Souls, breaking free of the limits set on the normal Resonance Souls. The Type-2 Resonance Souls are the Gauntlet (enhanced version of Arm), the Greave (enhanced version of Leg), the Armor (enhanced version of Body) and Helmet (enhanced version of Head). Unlike their former counterparts, Type-2 Resonance Souls are not limited to one job - a Gauntlet can be used for offense and well as defense.
Jade Armor: A Type-2 Resonance Soul, the Jade Armor is an upgraded version of the Jade Body. Powered by the divine protection of the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl, the Jade Body gives its user numerous powers. The first power, Crimson Butterfly, gives the user the ability to turn into a swarm of red butterflies, which can also regroup to become a human once more. The second power, Emerald Snake, allows the user to paralyze enemies by staring them in the eye. The third power, Jade Skin, allows the user to cover their skin with a hard green material, protecting them from damage and also adding to their strength. The Jade Armor is currently in the possession of the Count Edmond Dantes of Monte Cristo.
Sylph Greave: A Type-2 Resonance Soul, the Sylph Greave is an upgraded version of the Sylph Leg. A wind-based Resonance Soul, the Sylph Greave grants its user the power of the sprite Sylph. Its first power, Gale Strike, allows the user to send forth a minature tornado with a kick. Its second power, Compression Blast, allows the user to gather air in his or her feet and then let it explode, sending opponents in a close radius flying away. Its final power, Cutting Edge, allows the user to send a blade of air and is activated by a crescent kick. The Sylph Greave is currently in the possession of Special Agent #AAA Amigo.
Heart
Heart-Type Resonance Souls are unique Resonance Souls that contain abilities that surpass any other, and are owned by a chosen few. Little is known about them, but their power is not to be doubted.
Phoenix Heart: A unique Resonance Soul that grants the owner immortality, the Phoenix Heart is only found in the pure - whether they be pure good, pure evil or pure neutral. An owner of the Phoenix Heart can come back to life as many times as she wants, as long as he or she does not die more than once within an hour, for recharging of the Phoenix Heart takes such time. The Phoenix Heart also bestows upon the user the power to summon and use fire to incinerate enemies. Currently in the possession of Heart Shaped Toastie.
Voodoo Heart: A unique Resonance Soul that grants the user to curse others, the Voodoo Heart is perhaps one of the most malicious Resonance Souls to ever exist. The Voodoo Heart has a wide range of curses at its disposal, ranging from somewhat harmless misfortunes to devastating disasters. In order to be used, however, the user must come into contact with the target, and can only target one person at a time, although it can somewhat bypass that law with a loophole by bestowing an immense curse, such as a tornado or earthquake that harms many, on said target. The time it takes for the curse to come into effect depends on the degree of the curse – the user can control the exact timing of minor curses, but major curses will take quite a bit of time to activate, and the user has no control over the matter. The Voodoo Heart can also bring back the dead as mindless zombies, although such zombies will only last for an hour before decomposing.

Maggeh's Mad Fun Contest Okay, so it's not mad fun. But it'll still give you something to do while waiting the until the 18th. Contest is simple. Make up your own Resonance Soul! Post them in this thread, and discuss them!
Use the following form:[b]Name:[/b] [Resonance Soul Name]
[b]Description:[/b] [Resonance Soul Description] Simple, isn't it? Remember to keep in terms with the rules of Resonance Souls described in the Resonance Soul section above. You know, with Arms and Legs being offensive attacks, Heads dealing with mental powers and Bodies dealing with defensive powers. You could also go for Type-2 Resonance Souls or Hearts.
Also, when dealing with Type-2 or Hearts, mention the names of the abilities. That's the difference between Resonance Souls and Type-2 / Hearts.
