Elena sat demurely on one of the sofas in the Stationary Store's main area, ankles crossed and skirt carefully arranged about her. The book in her lap hadn't had the page turned in quite a while, as the girl was more interested in the antics of the cat creature prowling around. "Be careful Emma," she called out, watching as the Mozou attempted to scale a bookcase. A flick of an ear was all the response she got, causing her to giggle slightly and stand up, setting the book down. A quick walk over and the kitten was cuddled into her arms, looking highly disgruntled.
"Down," Emma demanded imperiously, glaring about as if someone would come to 'rescue' her from Elena's clutches.

Rhea was more than pleased to be able to go to the Stationary Shop all by herself. Now that she was a bit older, Elysia allowed her to go on her own. Of course, she dropped her off and picked her up, but there were a few hours between those events where Rhea cherished her freedom.
One day, she and Ti would explore the world on their own...without the needy and close grasp of their guardians.
She'd also left Munich at home. She was in no mood to deal with the faerie today. And if someone nice happened to be at the shop, she didn't want the wicked little Feien to scare them off. Rhea always liked making new friends, and today she hoped to do so. It had been a long while since she'd been to her birthplace, as it were, and she was fairly excited.
Pretending to be Superman, she ran up to the doors of the shop, making sure to fling her cloak behind her so that it would trail and float in the spring breeze. She was quite fond of her new cloak. Elysia had gotten it for her for Christmas, and though it wasn't really necessary in such pleasant weather, she demanded to wear it...even if she did have sandals and a tank top on.
As she ran straight into the door, arms raised in front of her to push it open, she couldn't help but call out, her excitement bubbling over. "Helloooo? Anyone here?"

At the sound of Rhea's voice, Elena froze, slightly loosing her grip on Emma, who wiggled a bit and escaped, hiding underneath the couch Elena had previously vacated. "I'm here," the girl said indulgently to whomever was entering, smoothing her skirt down with one hand.
As she had been expecting someone much younger than Rhea was, based solely on the exclamation, Elena's hand paused for a moment as she took in this new person's appearace. After a moment, her hand dropped to her side. "Isn't it a bit warm for a cloak?" she inquired, arching an eyebrow.

A bit warm for a cloak? Was it ever too warm for a cloak? Rhea wasn't so sure...She was quite fond of her cloak, and hadn't ever considered that it'd ever be too warm outside for her to wear it.
She tapped her index finger against her chin as the thought about this question, also taking in the lovely sight that was Elena as she did so.
"I suppose it is warm enough to go without it...I just really like it." She paused to pull it around her some, examining the swirled pattern that bedecked the outside edges. "You know, even people in the desert wear things like this to keep the sand out of their hair, faces and clothes. While I imagine they're probably pretty hot, I'm sure it's beneficial for them to do so," she stated matter-of-factly.
"And before you say that we're not in a desert, I'd just like to say that I'm aware of that, and that I came prepared!" With that, she flung the cloak over her shoulders to reveal the tank top and sandals underneath. She giggled and waved at Elena now that her arms were uncovered. "I'm Rhea. We haven't met before have we? You're another Tale, aren't'cha?" She paused and cocked her head to one side. "Are those STARS in your hair?" she gasped. "SO pretty."

Elena blinked at the factual response, trying to imagine people in a desert, of all places, wearing such an outfit. "If you say so," she replied finally, somewhat dismissive of the other Tale's knowledge and preparedness. Before she had a chance to properly reply to Rhea's self-introduction, the girl said something that instantly made Elena take notice. Obviously, this girl was intelligent - she'd complimented Elena. With a flick of her hair, setting the starry markings alight, Elena nodded regally.
"They're not stars, exactly. But they do look like constellations," she explained, tapping a finger on her head where the Big Dipper was clearly visible. "To answer your other questions, no, I don't think we've met, and yes, I am a Tale. My name's Elena," she continued, curtsying at the end of her statement, as was only proper for a princess to do.
