Let's talk about: Comments on Mere Christianity?
*C.S. Lewis knows how to write. It seems few authors are willing to write about the issues they had with christianity before they believed. Thoughts anyone?
*The illustrations are really good. Are there any that helped you? Or any you've heard about (if you haven't read the book) that you would like explained?
*The style is fun! Comments?

The manga is awesome and I am soo addicted to it... and anyone read teh war of the spider queen set yet? it is a six book series that is backed by R.A. Salvaltore teh creator of Drizzt and while not the founder, he is regarded as the Dark elf true creator. There is now another book that was spun off from that series that revolves around one of the main characters called "The lady Penetent." I just started it.
How about the Hellboy books? Also very good.

Really? I'll keep Hellboy in mind next time I needs something to read.
Anyone read anything by Jim Butcher? (Dresden Files)

Personally I like to sit down and read some John Donne every now and then, which is good because my big project for my 17th and 18th century British Literature class that I turned in yesterday was about him.
John Bunyan is also very good. Anyone who calls themselves a Christian I think should try to read Pilgrims Progress at least once. It has good prose and a wonderful wit that will keep you interested and challenge your faith at the same time. While I wouldn't say that it is a very short read I still claim that it is worth the effort.
By the way, in case you haven't guessed yet, I'm an English major. I have tons of other things that might prove interesting to be read. Ever need a recomendation just let me know and I'll do what I can to hook you up. Just don't expect me to be the most glorious spellers because I couldn't spell to save my life. I am doing better though, which I guess is a good thing razz
Edit to Lith: Are you scattered because you can't focus or are you scattered because you have other things to do?

Dante's Divine Comedies has to be the most interesting literature I have ever set my eyes on. Pain in the a** to read though.

I just finished reading an awesome book... the evolution of the machine gun. Man a great technical manual is all i need to waste the week away. The mini gun feeding system is amazing and simple with a nice twist towards the end of the story. Who'd a' thunk it!
My favorite artists have to be Barrett, H&K, Amalite, and FNH... Magnum research does a good work every now and again but it is always about the Desert Eagle... they need a new series to liven up the line and get the creative juices flowing.
