Moon Phases
The Moon is the most important to witches. We draw on her power for lunar magic. We cast our spells in accords with her cycles. The Moon has always been perceived as female. She mirrors the stages of our lives: "Maiden", "Mother" and "Crone". The moon also travels through the different astrological signs, just as the sun does, only more rapidly. When the moon resides within the various signs, that sign influences the magical aspect of the moon.

EARTH (attributed to the North and feminine)
spells should be preformed when the moon is in one of the astrological signs governed by that element: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn.
AIR (attributed to the East and masculine)
spells should be performed when the moon is in one of the astrological signs governed by that element: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.
FIRE (attributed tothe South and masculine)
spells should be performed when the moon is in one of the astrological signs governed by that element: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.
WATER (attributed to the West and feminine)
spells should be performed when the moon is in one of the astrological signs governed by that element: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.

I always feel really jazzed during a full moon in the autumn. Like electrified from head to toe and tingly.

twisted I tend to scare people a bit if I'm out on one of my night walks because they say my eyes glow. But I think it's just cuz the moon light shines in my eyes and it reflects back at them silly goofballs. rolleyes

Does the colour of the moon/moonlight (such as a Harvest Moon) affect anything?

I LOVE the Full Sturgeon. It's always almost hpnotic, it's got a very supernatural feel to it. Btu that's a cool list, too. Now I can say "hey, you guys, know what tonight is? teh full cold moon!"
