I'm not quite at the point of an actual organization yet, but one thing that would help me out a TON would be a little bit of information from people who want their character to be involved.
Zach has no power to wield. But there's always the opposite of threats, which is bribery XD So if your character happens to have a weakness for something, whether it's material like alcohol, or immaterial like power, it'd be great if they let it on somehow. Zach's not a psychic and he's not even particularly sharp. But he WILL take advantage of anything he can pick up on.
I'd really like to get five hardcore members before I do anything else.

So, just post here or something if you've got anything to add. Ideas, requests for RP, etc.

OTHER IDEAS:
- Ghost sightings in the graveyard and/or duplex of a dead islander prompt attempts to make contact. Ouija boards, seances, tape recorders, everything an amateur ghost-hunter could hope to get their hands on. Something like this would make for a fun group RP, like the TorD.
- An islander is zapped for whatever reason. They discover that they've lost an entire week or month's worth of memory, which can mean entirely forgetting someone new they met in that time, or any significant events that might have occurred. The memory might not necessarily come back to them. (NOTE: Memory loss is a side effect of electroshock therapy in real life, and was a side effect of the chips during the Aubrey plot.)
- An islander discovers, perhaps through accidentally ingestion, a poisonous plant or animal in the jungle that can be used to poison-tip weapons or claws. Or, for the more petty, attempted murder of another islander using it. All's fair in love and war, right?
- Islanders who want to pass information in relative secrecy from microphones start swimming a ways out into the ocean before whispering to one another. Given their voices are covered by the sound of ocean waves, this could be start of some form of secret code, or a way to directly stir up rebellion.
- Islanders can write letters under their blankets, and instruct the receiver to read and reply under blankets as well. It's a simple and crude method, but would be effective for dodging the cameras. This might be a good way to pass along battle plans, maps, lists, or other things that require being written down.
- As a product of stress, an islander becomes convinced that a dream of theirs is an actual premonition, and do everything they can to facilitate or prevent their vision, even though it's wasted effort. The dream could be anything - a rescue or the untimely death of someone they know would be the simplest.

Ooo...all of it sounds terribly fun. biggrin I can't think of a reason for Sophie to be zapped at the moment, but she'd likely tag along for a seance of some sort and then be the first one to scream (that is, unless Newt was accidentally there as well: he'd probably scream, too).
As far as the cult thing goes, Sophie's on the fence, and a few meetings with the right people could probably sway her to Zach's side. I think it'd be pretty funny and all, seeing as how she'd be a bit of an unlikely suspect for it. Not to mention I'm sure she'd be terrible at all the secret-keeping methods.
"Mm-hmm, write stuff in the sheets...wait, what's it supposed to look like to the cameras while we're shuffling around down there?"

I've always offered Newt up if Zach wanted to try to sway him... at this point in things he'd be a lot more difficult to get onto Lab-Side, but it would still be entertaining to see Zach try- threats of violence, promises of tools and materials, etcetera all would be very tempting to him. 3nodding

I'm not sure what "the cult" is, but it seems like a group of people who support the lab, if Zach is involved? If so, Aislinn can probably be swayed. It'd be easier in her final form (when she can walk like a normal person again, so to speak) but it wouldn't be too difficult now.
Might put some stress on her relationships with others, but it'd still be an interesting angle for her. <3

Manuel'd be up for grabs of course. He's a slimy b*****d, but hell, he's gonna be trying to snatch power wherever he can, so he should be fairly easy to convince. Especially if he thinks that Zach has powerful connections. heart

@FKT: Feel free to do the seance thing XD I just threw some ideas out there that I either can't do myself or figure others would be better at doing.

@Shiaree: Yep, 'cult' is just the joke name I'm using for it. It's basically the opposite of the rebellious groups that are coming together. There's always been an inexcusably small number of pro-labs islanders. I think they could be increased >3
@Tsu: Noted ;P It probably won't take long for Manuel to figure that out though, if he hears from certain people.

Well, both of us know that Amaya secretly has the hots for Zach. ;D So I don't think she'd really go against him as long as he kept his alliance to the labs a secret from her.
And if he plays his seduction/pity cards right, she's bound to help him in some way.
