Okay, some people may disagree with me, but truly, Ash's voice has been irritating me. I liked the old voice better, and if they truly had to get a new one, why not something a little more similar? Instead, Ash has a rough, new voice that I just don't accept as Ash. The voice, the clothes, the hat, the Pokemon... The only thing left are his looks and Pikachu!

The only good english voice actor they ever had was for the first season. Then they got the whiney voice until they hired on the roughneck.

I must say the new voices, as it's not only ash who have been replaced but it seems every voice for a squeakier one, are extremely annoying and I nearly stoped watching because of them. I then decided that they aren't that bad really and it's just going to take some getting used to. Though I don't know why your annoyed about Ash when Prof. Oak's new voice is MUCH worse.

Well, it may seem cliche, but I like Ash way more than any other character. He's the most developed, and we (if not we, then I) are more familiar with him, and that irritates me that he is not that familiar to us anymore.

Misty was an interesting character, though when she left the group for the first time, I got a feeling she might become a throw-away character, to be used as a backdrop for plots in the future. -.-

The first voice change took some getting used to, and I did get used to it after awhile. But they used that second voice about halfway through season 1 and all the way through the Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, and part way through the Battle Frontier. Not only did they change to a bad voice actor but they changed it halfway through a season.
On the other hand, it IS 4kids so it's almost to be expected.
