Midnight Shadow trotted away from the small bunch of teepees that was her new home. She hadn't seen Apple-oosa in some time, but she knew that she would see him again, soon. It just wasn't like her to go searching for him. She had grown weary of searching for someone now that she had settled herself down in the small village with her new human. This human had cared for her the moment that she had came into his care and she was pleased that she was starting to grow more accustomed to spending time around other Soquili. She flicked her tail slightly as she lowered her maw down towards the lush grass to graze upon it. She wondered if there were any foals she could talk to. She knew that some baskets had opened up, revealing the tiny foals inside, but she hadn't seen any foals yet. Flicking her tail again, she wandered a few more feet away from the village, not paying attention to where she was going.

A dark chocolate painted filly lay under a tree trying to find out if any of the humans nearby were intresting. Intresting in her dictionary wasn't the simple kind, sweet and will tell you everything, she wanted to see fighting and thoes strong but alas she had been dissapointed to find none, everyone had looked so cheerful.
Zillah had left her monther's protective eye... he who needed to be watched 24/7? not her. She didn't want to be stuck with her whimpy brother either... he was no fun at all. She had been finding the ocult or anything related more to her liking and it drover her parents crazy.
Zillah looked up to see an older mare not even really paying attention to where se was going, how pathetic. She thought privatly. Well maybe if she ignored her and left it might be alright. Zillah stood and got ready to leave, she tossed her small black-white mane aside as she began to walk away from the village.

Midnight lifted her head up slightly to see a young foal wandering away from the village. Normally she wouldn't go after the youngster, but today something told her to stop the tiny foal from wandering too far away from the village. Flicking an ear, she lifted her head up from the grass as she slowly started to trot towards the filly. "I Don't think that is a very good idea," she said to the filly in a slightly soft voice. "There could be wolves out there ready to hunt down innocent foals like yourself if you wander too far away from the village." She didn't mention anything about wanting the filly to go back to her mother. She had no idea if the filly had a mother or not.
Shifting her gaze towards the forest in front of her and the filly, she felt the urge to go wandering in it, but she held that urge back. She needed to get used to the humans and other Soquili instead of wandering into the forest whenever she felt nervous or scared. Stopping in her tracks, she began to paw at the ground, wondering what the tiny filly might do. She hoped that the foal didn't run off. That would ruin her entire day and she didn't want to track down the filly's mother to tell her the bad news. Sighing, she turned her gaze towards the filly to see what she was going to do.

"I don't care what you think" the brown filly muttered. Zillah snorted "I'm worse than some wolves." she said darkly, stupid old mare. She didn't need anyone she could take care of herself. Heh her family was already huge, two aunts and grandparents, two siblings and her parents... It was already a crowd.
"So if you don't mind I am leaving," the little filly told her. Zillah flicked her tail.
Vevina looked around franticly Zillah had left again, she didn't know what she had done wrong, was she really that horrible of a mother? why did Zillah hate her so? Vevina often had cried to Acajou when her foals were aleep. Vevina went to the village to find out if any other soquili had seen the dark paint.

Midnight narrowed her eyes slightly. She didn't want to become stubborn towards the tiny filly just because she was younger, but it looked like Midnight would have to become more firm towards the younger generation. It seemed like they were getting more and more stubborn with each passing generation. She flicked her tail, too, as she started to follow the tiny filly.
She saw a flash of white and brown from the corner of her eye in the village, but she ignored it. Her task at hand was to follow the young filly and bring her safely back to the village. She didn't want to get tough on a foal that wasn't her own, but it seemed like Zillah was more than a handful for any Soquili that was too shy for her own good. "Stop, young one. I mean it this time!" she yelled at the tiny foal.

Zillah ignored the much older mare. "Why are you following me? Go away." she filly snorted. Zillah continued away. she would just ignore the mare an hope she would stop following. Zillah heard the mare call out, what god damn right did she think she had to her? "I dont even know you.." she narrowed her eyes
"I dont care if you mean it you arnt even related to me let alone my mother!" she shot back.

Midnight sighed loudly. It seemed this little filly was very stubbon and hard-headed, like someone she used to know in the past. Shaking her head, she continued to pursue the filly, her pace quickening slightly. "I know I am not your mother, but I am the only one around who can look out for you. Your own mother might be looking for you right now. She might even think that you are dead by now!" Now she was irate. She just wanted a peaceful day, but this filly had to ruin it. Narrowing her eyes, she lowered her head down slightly and began to flick her tail against her hindquarters.

"Look ouy for me?" the filly mocked "I don't need some one like youto look out for me!" the filly continued her pace quicking herself "My mother knows I can take care of myself" Zillah replied "She knows I am fine." Zillah looked back to the mare following her. Persistant mare god why couldn't she just leave her alone!
"Why dont you go home!" Zillah said darkly "And leave me alone"

Midnight Shadow gave the tiny filly a quick glare. Of course the tiny filly would just assume that her mother would think that her daughter would be alright. All foals thought that at first until they got into their first little mess up.
"Home? I have no home. Why don't you go to your mother? You have no idea what she is thinking at this moment!" She stopped in her tracks, a little tired of following the filly around. Turning around, she began to slowly walk back towards the village. If the filly thought that she could go out alone, then that would be her biggest mistake ever. Despite this, Midnight thought that it was time for the filly to learn a lesson in wandering around alone without anyone around.
