this is my latest poem and the first one i post on gaia.
Who am I?
I don't know.
Where do I come from?
From the Earth?
Why am I here?
Why are any of us here at all?
Why do we feel?
Why do we hurt?
What's the point of living if all there is, is pain?
Why is love so scarce, so hard to find?
An endangered species, dying in vain because of lust.
Sometimes I wonder, what comes after life?
I wonder what it's like to be a ghost.
Is it true, every living creature dies alone?
When we die, is that it, do we rot and fade away?
Our memories forgotten along with our skin?
The feelings we've been through mean nothing in the end?
If so, again, what's the point of living?
Who are we and why are we here?
