I have to say, I'm pretty amazed that a group of D&D fans have not got a sub forum devoted to the actual game, that being the good ol' storytelling and dice rolling that has lured the minds of thousands into the evil WOTC's grasp!

I'm guessing nobody wishes to DM one, otherwise there'd be one going, and if this is the case then I'd like to throw my name into the non existent hat. I have no problems running a game, though it would be very player orientated in that although I could set out a sort of plot the way you guys actually wish to complete said plot would be entirely up to you.

For example, the assassination of one 'King' Obould, a group of adventurers come together for the first time with this common goal in mind and set off from Silverymoon with the blessings of the Lady herself, and perhaps with a word or to from Dove. You could choose to make use of your coin and hire a ship to take you up the river or stroll through the Trollmoors, perhaps stopping by the newly constructed and reinforced Nesme to help out for a time, pitting magic and steel against Trolls, the choice would be entirely up to the players.

I'm a big fan of the Drow myself so the race would be allowed, as would many templates (Hell, I play a Half Air Elemental Dark Elf Ranger/Tesmpest two-bladed sword wielder and 'Demon' hunter in an epic game XD Not exactly cliche I think...), but I think it'd be a good idea to start the game fairly low level (got to consult my book to figure out how high Obould is, know he's in the FRCS but it's upstairs and I'm feeling lazy) probably around ten but with a forty point buy system and a slightly higher than normal gold allotment for the level.

Anyone interested?

acually, we do have a sub-forum, two if you really think about it
there's the pointedly named D&D sub-forum as well as the not so obvous Fan Submisions Sub-Forum confused
I consiter acual campains to fall moreso under the Fan Submision sub-forum because it's something you put togeater, where the D&D forum is moreso for discusions >.>

I'm actually thinking of running a spec.op. style game, level three characters working as 'spies' and assassins working to make the world a better place... or are they?
