I play bass but I'm not really focused on it so I'm learning pretty slowly.

bass is cool. My dad has one but I just mess around with it sometimes though.

My Dad plays bass too. He and his band are amazing.
My suitemate is also a really good bassist. It kinda makes me want to start it up, but I know I really should focus on my guitar.
Still. Badass instrument.

yeah, definately badass. I'd teach myself but then I wouldnt play for about a year and then I'd have to go back and keep trying to cover stuff I forgot. I always have to do that with guitar

I play guitars/bass/vocals in the black metal band XIAN.
...I think LAI LAI HEI is the only person in this guild who has even heard of Xian before. xd

I've been dabbling with it since my roommate got his new bass (he sucks at it), but cant really say i can play it. i just slap it a few times when i pick it up and call it a day.

Bass sounds cool....I would like to learn it because in a way, it's someone similar to violin but with a longer neck
