my dad lets people know how much he cares all the time, he lets me know on a less regular basis

parents often make the mistake of assuming that their kids know how they feel about them. or they don't know how to vocalise their emotions, or they just don't care of course, there's always that option! rolleyes

talk2hand my father's an a**. always has been. Although I don't know specifically what you're referencing, Big Kudos to Will for being so public and vocal about *gasp!* love and fatherhood and family!
