Rahu had gone off for a small walk as his two sons and daughter where sleeping with Aruna watchign over them. he had planned for this to be a short walk and thats what he told Aruna and also said he would stick near by just incase. snorting and tossing his mane, he prowled about thinking. it seemed his foals where going to be a handful, and knew he was pretty much forced itno helping since his foals where pretty clingy to him. shakign his head, he knew the area well so he just kind of wandered aimlessly at the moment tl he knew he would have to be back or get his head bit off by Aruna and have the foals wondering where he had gone.

Chikotae was older now and he had spent time with the other 3 foals he had seen with his mother. Of course he knew they were not his real parents but he was grateful they had taken him in and cared for him. They had saved him really. He did not remember his mother much but resentment and bitterness towards her had settled into his heart. She had left him for dead.
He had snuck off on his own a little ways away from his mother who was napping with the dark stallion's foals. The red stallion that was his father had gone off in search of something for his mother. She had thought him asleep and so it was the perfect time to sneak out and follow this dark stallion they called Rahu. He was interested by him. He seemed so dark and full of hate and bitterness. His eyes, those red eyes, they told him everything. Chikotae's own eyes were a deep, dark red, so dark they were almost black.
Ah, there he was. He kept the black stallion in sight, following close behind now, as silently as he could. He had learned much from his father but he still had to perfect his silent movement technique.

Rahu flicked his ears back and stopped suddenly. standing still his ears lifted in a more natural positiion as he listened for any signs that one of his foals had decided to follow him, specialy his hot headed son Raum. glancing about infront of himself but not behind, he wondered if there really was anyone following him. only on way to find out, shaking his head he took off at a fast pace threw some trees and soon would go behidn some trees to see if someone following his would then start looking forhim if he lost them.

Chikotae stopped as Rahu stopped, flicking his ears. The stallion obviously had heard something. He cursed softly under his breath, knowing he would need to practice his silent movements more. And then the dark stallion took off. Chikotae was a swift foal, faster then most his age. But mind you he was no match for a stallion like Rahu, at least not yet. However he was able to keep up fairly easily as Rahu ran but the ducking in and out of the trees proved a little more difficult. His father had not exactly shown him how to do that yet. However he took it as a challenge and concentrated on the black stallion's movements and tried to mimic them, using them to learn this technique. He would not allow this stallion to leave him behind, not like his mother had left him.

Rahu feintly heard extra hoofs to his own and smriked. if this follower was not going to be lost well then he would just have to meet them head on. while he moved in and out of trees, he went in the direction one following would have expected but suddenly went in the other rather quickly and skidded to a halt. if the one following had managed to follw the tricky move, they would run right into him since he halted so quickly and they they would have to deal with an annoyied stallion.

Chikotae watched Rahu's movements darting in and out of the trees and then his sudden spin in another direction. chikotae gathered himself and mimicked the move, but he had not expected the stallion to be standing right there waiting for him! He skidded to a halt, outstretching his small wings to aid him in stopping by flapping them some. And so he stood, face to face with the dark stallion he had been so intruiged by. Rahu....
The small colt was short in comparison to the tall stallion, but he feared him not. Instead he walked closer to Rahu, inspecting him with his eyes.

Rahu glared at the colt who had dared to decide to follow him about. dark red eyes looked over the colt as the colt dared to come closer, and he somewhat remebered seeing him about near Aruna a times when Delano came about. " what do you think your doing following me? isn't there somewhere you should be at the moment?" was all Rahu said to the colt and wasn't exsactly pleased to have had the colt follow him.

Peeking open an eye as he glanced towards his dozing mother (he and his siblings, including his older adopted brother Chikotae, had worn her out) to make sure she wasn't watching, he slowly inched away to follow after Chikotae and his father. He didn't really get how Chikotae was his brother and yet wasn't, but he would later as he grew older and began to learn more and more. Grinning cheekily as he snuck away, he made sure to follow as quickly as he could. Sniggering to himself, he did his best to follow the two other males.

Chikotae returned Rahu's glare, equally as cold and dark, although his eyes were darker in their coloration then Rahu's. In fact his were near black, with a deep dark red hue. "And isn't there somewhere you need to be?" he replied back, sarcasm dripping from his voice. He ignored Rahu's question entirely, one corner of his mouth pulled up into a grin now. "Oh thats right, you need a break from the duty of looking after foals. Good thing they are sleeping with their mother and no one really watching them if predators come around. Well I guess I'll join you then, I need a break myself." He ruffled his wings a bit as he folded them to his sides now. Chikotae held Rahu's gaze, unaware they were about to be interrupted with some company.

oi this pest fo a clt was goign to test his will power to control himself. Rahu snarled and still held his glare. " thats none of your bsueness now is it you pest fo a colt." stomping a hoof, he had rather hoped this colt would not annoye him. little did he know both his own sos where now on their way to him. " you should beback where you should be and not out and about with someone you dont know."
Raum was not far behind going after hisbrother and father and that other colt that stayed with them. he wasn't about to let them have all the fun and he wasn't about to let that colt take off with HIS father. catchign up with is brother, he didn't say a word.

Chikotae took another step closer, a mocking look on his face, "oh temper temper." Chikotae simply mused at the flaring temper this stallion had. "Is that any way to treat a foal? Hardly befitting of a supposed role model to your offspring." He watched Rahu stomp a hoof and simply replied with a smart mouth remark, "and what is that supposed to do? scare me? Oh look I'm shaking in my little hooves!" He rolled his eyes and let his gaze meet Rahu's once more. "Oh but I am where I should be which is anywhere I want to be and tsk tsk, you're no stranger. You're the father of my adopted siblings. My mother trusts you after all, although I don't see why from how you behave. she should be worried you might decide to take out your temper on one of the foals" Chikotae's ears flickered as he heard the approaching beats of hooves and knew they were to have company soon. It seemed his siblings had also sneaked away from their mother. "looks like we have company."

Ignoring his brother for a moment, Shizuka shared a smirk with Raum as he made his way towards where Chikoate and Rahu were, though it had taken a little while for the two to follow Chikotae who had followed Rahu. Shizuka would never admit it, but he'd had a hard time following the complexity of steps that Chikotae and Rahu had taken to try and outmaneuver each other.
As he came up behind Chikotae, who was just a bit older than he and Raum, he blinked as he looked at his father. His father looked... angry. Not in a humorous, mock angry, but angry. His ears laid back as he somewhat stood behind Chikotae, wanting to bare his teeth but unable to do so because this was his father. He glanced over to Raum, wondering what his younger sibling would do.
Looking nervously at Rahu, though trying to hide his nervousness because he wanted to prove he was just as tough as his adopted older brother, Shizuka managed to give Rahu a smirk. "Hi, Dad!" he said as cheerfully as he could but ended up snickering softly instead... his nervousness made him fidget slightly but he hoped it looked like he was just excited to see his father.

Rahu snarled and his head looked over in the direction he heard hoofs and knew who's they where. and when he saw it was his sons, he moved away from the colt and ignored him for the moment, while walking up to his sons. " Shiz... Raum what do you think your doing here following me when i told you more than once never to do so?" keeping his tone even for now it was never good when he dd that. looking back at the other colt, he again kept his tone even. " you can do as you please as i am not the one responsable for you and dont plan to have to watch over you just because you 'parents' can't watch you, but i recomending youleaving back to where you should be." looking back at his sons it was clear he wasn't all too happy and the anger in his dark red eyes showed. "now you two better explain yourselfs and quick before i march you two back to your mother."
Raum's smirk had disapeared when he saw his father was angery and not a mock angery. ears flicked back, he kinda wished he could go back with out having been now caught, but too late he wouldn't run. glancing at Shiz, he wasn't about to say hi like his brother did but he was forced to say somethign now that his father adressed him and his brother. "..... but dad i saw Chikotae sneek off after you and then i saw Shiz go after Chikotae so i wanted to know what was going on." staring at his father, oh he knew he was in for it and waited for what his brother might say.

"Well well look at this....its the toddler patrol." Chikotae rolled his eyes slightly, annoyed they had followed him. He had wanted to figure Rahu out alone but as usual they butted their noses into everything. He heard Rahu's scolding and could only muse a grin at the stallion. "And they would listen to you why? Its in their blood not to listen to anything or anyone...just like you."
This was fun however. He indeed enjoyed this outting and it was his nature to be sarcastic. Its not like they earned any respect from him otherwise. Rahu was intruiging but he still wasn't there for his foals like a father should be. Kinda like how his own mother abandoned him...sort of. "ohhh such words from such a 'ressssponsible' stallion, who is never here most of the time and can't watch his own foals since he is almost never there to do so. "
He trotted closer to Rahu again before smirking and ocommenting again. "Yea I'll get right on that......not." And with that he stod there giving Rahu such a coy and obviously fake looking innocent smile, while he watched Shiz and Raum almost cower before their angry father. It was so pathetic they feared him so much like this. "awwww Baby see baby do huh? Maybe baby should be asleep and suckling his mother's n****e and minding his own business instead of following older siblings."
