 Yiska had entered the world not too long ago and already he was up and about. Taking walks with his family and moving from place to place while his parents found food for him and his siblings.
Though the young colt had a habit of leaving the safty of his family to explore a bit more. The world seemed like a curious place, new things to see and smell.
Strolling through some tall grass, he had to hold his head up high just so that he could see over the top. Funny looking tips to the grass tickled his white nose, causing him to sneeze occasionally. In his mind he wondered what he would stumble upon this time.

Raum the hot headed colt slip away out of sight to go exploring. oh he was as witty adn smart as his parents but the only problem was he left his anger get the better of him if anything caused him to get angery. now if his brother was with him then if he got angry his brother could quickly reminded him not to be so hot headed but at the omenthe decided to go about on his own. head held high proudly, he wrinkled his nose as he came into some tall grass that blocked his vision and tickled his nose. and suddenly he thought he heard a snice but then he couldn't help but give a huge loud sneeze and not just once but twice from the grass messing with his nose. oi this was a fine time to be sneezing while walking, and little did he know he would stumble upon a colt his own age.

Ears perked forward as he heard not one, but two sneezes come from a pretty close location. Maybe it was some lion stalking him or or a wolf! No, now was not the time to turn and run. Now was the time to be brave. He'd show his parents he could fend for himself.
Puffing up his chest a bit, he tramped through some more of the tall grass. Though the tickling of the grass against his nose caused him to sneeze again, so all that air tucked away in his chest blew out. Yiska was no longer his larger looking self. At least he thought he looked larger when he puffed out his chest.

Raum's ears flicked back as he heard somethign coming. he puffed his chest up to appear bigger and more intemidating. unlike the colt that was coming his way, he stayed put and waited. oh he may be hot headed and normaly one to rush into things but he knew better. he lowered his head ready to head butt whatever was comign through when he say a black colt with a white mask and bright green markings. snorting and tossing his head, he glared while standing up tall with his chest puffed. " who are you?" was all he demanded of the colt who seemed to clearly, atlest to him, come into his area he was exploring.

Yiska's head lifted up high as he heard the voice come out of the grass. Looking around for a second, he soon spotted a brownish red colt not too far away through the grass.
Giving a small snort, he raised his tail in a warning towards the other colt who seemed to be positioning himself for some sort of attack. "I'm Yiska. And just who are you?"

Raum noted the warning and pawed at the ground a moment before lifting his head up fully out of his postition of head butting. for now there was no reason for him to get himself into a fight since the colt answered him. " I'm Raum." snorting, he took a step towards the colt named Yiska a bold move on his part. " what are you doing around here?" oh he was not one to back down from anything and of course he contiuned his questionign with out thinking what the other might be thinking.

He eyed this new colt cautiously, his tail still high and his legs ready to spring into action if necessary. "Just lookin around. Exploring I guess." Yiska's ears perked forward as the colt named Raum started to move towards him.
"And just what are you doing around here?" Yiska's eyes never left Raum for a second. He seemed to have a different disposition than the other colt he had met. But of course, it was only logical that it was true. Not everyone had the same personality or friendly-ness as the next.

" exploring and doing what i feel" was Raum's hot headed responce to being asked what he was doing. Raum's position relaxed a bit visably with his ears perked forward instead of flicked back. he held his ground right where he stopped when he had gone closer to Yiska. " so you sneeked away from your mom and dad too?" raising a brow, he found Yiska somewhat interestign from the fact he had green markings that where well odd to him as his own parents where natural colors of black, brown and white though Raum got his brown, red color from both his parents.

He shrugged off the grouchy responce mentally. Yiska lowered his tail a bit as he started to relax but his lengs still tensed as the small muscles stayed ready. "Well yea. Its nice to get away once in a while. Besides...I can take care of myself just fine." Yiska's voice got a small emphasis as he finished his last statement.

Raum snorted a bit and tosses his short mane. " i know what you mean." he wrinkled his nose a bit and shook his head. " i can take care of my self just fine too." now walking the rest of the way up to Yiska, he sized him up and eyed the weird but interesting green markings he had. " whats with those green markings? i never seen anyone with the color green on them." leaning closer, he sniffed at Yiska courious to see if the green color was actualy part of him. oh it was apparent he had no regard for being polite at all as he inspected the markings.

An eyebrow instantly raised as Raum sniffed at him, but Yiska didn't move from his spot. He wasn't going to back up or jump away. That would probably be something his sister would do. "My mama has green markings like these all over her, so I more than likly got them from her. I've never seen someone...with your colors before either."

Raum backed off after he was satisfied with his inspection of the werid markings. his golden eyes, looked Yiska right in the eyes and he snorted somewhat annoyied. " i guess so. and my colors arent as weird as that green." lookign down at his legs, he had a dark red, brown color. he also had black down his legs, with peach colored stockings. shaking his head, he looked back at Yiska, daring him to make a retort about his coloring.

Yiska shrugged lightly at Raum's comment about the green. "Doesn't bother me. Just makes me different is all." The colt was proud of how he looked, something his papa had told him to always be proud of. Though Hok'ee did seem to be a bit egotistical and vain sometimes, Yiska loved him all the same.
"I'd rather be different than look like everyone else." He gave an affirming nod to his statment. Yiska wasn't one to make fun of others for how they looked. Sure some things might look strange at first, like horns and wings, but usually when you ask others about them they're more than happy to explain what they are. Such knowledge was unknown to the foal at the time, but he'd learn eventually.

Raum shrugged since he was satisfied with the answer he got from Yiska and it didn't raise his hot headed temper at all. "true it would be boring if everyone looked the same." nodding, he figured Yiska didn't care what others saw of his markings, special with the responce he had gotten. of course there was no need to make fun of the markings since they where nothing to make fun of. " so find anythign interesting about ehre or is it dull like everywhere i been when i came here?" he was ready for something more fun, rather than chat and stand in one spot.

Glancing around for a moment, he then turned his attention back to Raum. "Not really. All I've found is this tall grass which makes my nose itch." Wrinkling his nose, he stomped a sharp hoof down on some of the grass to push it down. "I thought perhaps on the other side of the grass would be something interesting. But it just seems to go on forever." Yiska gave a substle sigh as he gave their surroundings another quick glance.
