Forgive me if this topic's been done before, but I don't believe it has. :/ I don't believe this has spoilers in it, but I whited out some content just in case. ^^; Anyway, so one day I was browsing about for Kingdom Hearts stuff. I don't even remember how I got there, but I found a clip on Youtube that showed the censorship of Axel's death. O___o Apparently he originally got caught of the fire of his own attack instead of putting his whole being into an attack. :/ It's the same clip, just a different scenario. I don't even see the reason why they took it out, honestly.
Youtube Clip: Kingdom Hearts II - CensorshipIn the Olympus coliseum, they edited out some of the green blood from the Hydra for purple and blue smoke. o__o I wonder why?... There was some slight editing for the battle with Xigbar dealing with the way he handled his guns. That's not really that big of a deal--again, I'm trying to think of a reason why... And the last one on my list is the editing of violent scenes of Port Royal-- my favorite one to tell my friends is the fact that Will Turner threatens suicide by putting a gun to his head. (I've told this to several people, and the summary of their reaction was giving me the "WTF?!" face. sweatdrop ) Anyway, I got this from the Wikipedia page on KHII, under the censorship section. Um, so, let the discussion commence?... :/ Feel free to make yaoi jokes about possible "cut-scenes" that may have taken out. xD This is a yaoi thread. xDD

Spoilers, white out below.
The editting of Axel's death makes me mad. :/ It was so pretty and meaningful with him going into flames in his final moments! Darn American censorship.
Also, I like to think that while Sora and Riku were waiting on that beach alone together towards the very end of the game, there were quite a few yaoi moments that were 'cut out'. ;D

The "green blood" turned to smoke pisses me off.
I mean, the Hydra had the blood (or bile, as i thought it was) in the movie. Herc was covered in it and digestive fluids, for pete's sake!

It really sucks what they did to Axel's death...I liked the little dying flames around him. They should have kept it in. I kind of want to see the Hydra scene in KH now, just to see what the 3-D green blood would have looked liked. >>;

I haven't played the game yet, but I really can believe they censored it. They do it to anime all the time.
