Hello and welcome to my quest thread for the Scent of Love Like Winter ^^
I'm Manda and I've watched the shop for a while, figured it was time I made a quest thread. Hopefully I can eventually raise up enough to be able to play with this lovely idea <3

.Personality. In general, Ka'hmesh is the type to stay pretty quiet and keep his opinions to himself. He's very confident in himself and his own abilities, he just doesn't go around bragging about it. Ka is very very protective of those he loves and not easily cowed or broken. He also has an almost infinite supply of patience.

.Name of Scent. Rhiloss
.Gender. Male
.Scent. Love Like Winter -- A strange blend of soothing and sharp, sweet and harsh. Sugar and ice, vanilla and snow. This scent has the ability to be completely and totally wild and at other times calming - though this, too, is deceptive. The calm is like that of the world before a storm ... or that of something frozen and still as ice. There is also just the faintest hint of death about it, a slight coppery smell, like that of fresh blood.
.Physical description for each stage.
Unlit Scent - The incense is a very soft grey color, with a couple of swirls of white.
Lit Scent - Now there are just a few more white swirls.
Child Scent - The child's eyes are rather large, and the same soft grey that the incense was, flecked with a few specks of white - like snow against clouds. However, in the pupil of his left eye, there is a single speck of red - liquid like blood. His hair is rather short and messy with a few bangs falling into his face. The color of it is something very special though. The strands are somewhat translucent, like ice - where they are clumped together, his hair looks white. But where his hair is thinner, such as at the ends and around the sides a bit, it's possible to see through it to whatever color may be behind. For example, if he was standing against a red wall, the tips of his hair would look as if they were stained pink.
As far as clothing goes, at this stage he just wears a simple shirt and pants - maybe a turtleneck?
Adolescent Scent - The large eyes of the child have narrowed slightly and gotten just a bit harder, the angles of the scent's face have sharpened, seeming to become thinner rather than filling out. There's still a bit of an unfinished look to him though - as he still has some growing left. His hair has gotten a bit longer, the ends falling loose over his shoulders, strands thin and fine. The very ends of his hair are now starting to turn more transparent - the faintest sheen of silver-white obscuring whatever color may be behind them.
As a teen, he's a bit more concious about his choice in clothing - though turtlenecks and sweaters that aren't too bulky are a favorite. The colors of his clothes match very well and he's added a scarf or two to his wardrobe. He tends to accent a lot with red at this stage. Also, one ear is now pierced with a small blue stud.
Adult Scent - At this point, it's obvious that the Scent is fully grown - though in a way he still looks very frail. His face has lengthened still more, cheekbones high and skin paper-thin over the bone, almost vampiric or elven in nature. His gaze has gone colder still, harsh and unyielding. His entire frame is thin, stretched out almost - though at the same time hard and cold, like a too-perfect statue perhaps inspired by a being made only of bone and tissue, sinewy muscle overlaying it all with absolutely no fat, even where it might be healthy to have some. His hair has gotten longer as well - it seems like he never cuts it. He has taken to pulling most of it back in a low ponytail though, the ends falling halfway down his back. The bangs have gotten longer as well though and these brush his shoulders on the sides. At this point, it is nearly impossible to see the ends of his hair at all, only a thin silver line here and there indicating they even exist in front of whatever color they're up against.
The more casual clothing is gone for the most part and his outfits now are almost universally formal. Suits are a major part of his wardrobe - though he has a scarf on more often than a tie. Colors still match very well, and a lot of pale colors are used or else white with hints of soft colors. Another blue stud to match the first is in his other ear now.
Elder Scent - If anything, the thin, stretched-out appearance is now more pronounced than ever. Eyes are like chips of grey ice and that blood-spot has faded just a bit, looking like old blood rather than fresh. His hair is longer still, reaching his waist now and the transparent quality of the ends has moved upward so that nearly half of the ponytail is barely visible at times.
The suits have left by now, as he's gone back to more casual clothing. However, it's not quite the same as what he wore as a teen. There's still an air of formality to the clothes, though they may not be strictly formal in and of themselves.
.Personality.
Child Scent - This is the stage when the Scent is the most wild. Like a fresh storm, he is completely unpredictable, calm one moment and raving the next. This wildness can take many different forms, sometimes cruelty, sometimes just completely random spurts of babbling or a tendency to go off half-cocked on any number of ideas. However, he can also be almost unnaturally still and quiet, staring at anyone in the vicinity without a shred of emotion in his eyes. On a more general basis, he tends to be a polite, quiet child, though he appears to have no sense of humor whatsoever. With those that he likes, the child can be incredibly sweet and loving - though you have to be careful as this sometimes might lead to him asking for something (but that's common to children everywhere, right?).
Adolescent Scent - The wildness has faded just a bit, though it's still in evidence from time to time. For the most part, he is still polite, though now it's colder - almost in a superior sort of sense, though he himself doesn't seem to see this and doesn't do it on purpose. He has the usual bouts of teen moodiness, and yet seems to have no problems at all with peer pressure. He doesn't care what others think of him, and this includes his guardian. The sweetness he sometimes showed as a child seems to have disappeared in this stage.
Adult Scent - His attitude has gotten colder still, gone as icy as his gaze. Almost nothing can crack the shell he's put around himself, as calm and cool now as the statue he appears to be modeled after. However, at this point, there is also a strange sense of peace about him, as if maybe he's come to terms with some issue or other. Even now, though, there are still the occasional bouts of wild temper or random fits of rage or depression. He also now has a sort of dry sense of humor and a wit that can bite at times - his companions unsure if it's meant to joke or wound. In other ways, however, he has gone back somewhat to how he was as a child. There are a few that he cares for and with these people, he's much nicer and can be very loving - most of the time.
Elder Scent - By this point, the wildness has almost disappeared, and that peaceful sense overlays the cold attitude. And even if it doesn't make him friendly, per se, it makes him a bit more approachable.
