Fragrance-free soaps, personal products and detergents?

I'm attempting to be serious with the precepts and I want to at least follow most of the 8, although 6 and 8 are rather difficult for a lay buddhist and 5 is terribly tempting for a 20-something.

I'm not sure. You might try lye soaps, or if you aren't using any animal products, some artificial lye soaps. I bathed with lye soap for a while, and it really gets the job done, at least, as good as any other soap.

One of the eight precepts is something along the lines of refraining from bodily ornaments, or perfumes. Nice smelling soaps = Perfumes
