  ~WELCOME TO CHARPIA ISLAND!~
Inside of the expansive realm of Befushi Land lies a small, secluded oasis by the name of Charpia Island. Most Gaians have no idea about it's existence, but you, one of the lucky few, have found your way here.
The inhabitants of this Isle are the elusive, mystical Charpia: small, furry creatures who are considered extremely adventurous and clever. They are social creatures (for the most part) and they love to explore their surroundings. It is said that if a kindly wanderer journeys around the island enough, they just -might- catch a glimpse of one of the little creatures... and those who are extremely lucky may even be able to befriend them.
Below you will see that I have taken the time to travel the various regions of Charpia Island, and document them here for your convince. By all means, I have not been able to visit -every- depth and secret of the Isle, leaving a great many mysteries unsolved. Only the Charpias know of those hidden, wondrous places.
The ones currently listed are specific locations that I have seen Charpias frequent. I have come to the conclusion that depending on their personalities and preferences, various Charpias live in various areas. ~Purpose~The purpose of this thread is to be an additional information center for your -own- Charpia threads- the ones where you list your current befriended Charpias, their pets, their toys... etc. Feel free to pick one of the places below and put the picture url in your own thread. You don't have to, of course. It's just an extra little thing that I thought would be fun to have.
ALSO!~ Once actual RPing starts up, we can use these places (if we want to) to specify/show the terrain our lil critters are exploring/playing/etc at. We can RP wherever we want, really, so feel free to come up with your own unique areas. If you do come up with your own creative place, I may even ask you if I can "document" the area here. *winks* You never know. <333

Surrounding almost the entire coast of Charpia Island are beautiful, expansive beaches. The waters are clear and vivid blue, and fish glimmer beneath the waves like silver leaves in the current. The sands range from a golden hue to almost a pearly white, while oddly shaped seashells decorate the shore. Here and there, vibrant palm trees have taken root and lean over the calm waters, acting as great resting places for tired adventurers.

Branching off the main island lies a small strip of rocks, surrounded by a rough surf. One adventurous Charpia wandered down here once, despite the danger, and found at the bottom a large cove that bore deep into Charpia Island. No one really knows how far in it goes or where exactly it leads, because the entrance becomes impassable at high tide. It still remains a popular place for exploring natives who want a little thrill during the afternoon. Every now and then, one is even lucky enough to find a little treasure hidden in the shallow pools inside.

A little inland on Charpia Island lies a brilliant fresh water lagoon. It is fed by the rivers that flow down through the jungles and forests nearby, and is a retreat for many nearby inhabitants. Although it is nowhere near the size of the Island's immense lake, it still covers a good deal of area- around a quarter mile in width. Vegetation blooms on all sides of its banks, and the foliage roundabout shifts between both palms and fruit bearing trees all year round.
