The metal shimmered in the sunlight, the molten rays scattering over the silver surface as Carl twisted it this way and that by the store window. what was this metal thing? A pendant, his pendant, one he'd grown so very fond and proud of for having gotten from the depths of nothing as proof of where he had been. He'd come to the shop in hope of finding Trea, or maybe Toby hanging around, but he'd found it empty and void of anyone to show off his new treasure to. Thus he simply sat upon the edge of the sill and admired it, and his own reflection within, in the sunlight, wondering if it would be lucky enough a charm to bring some one along to keep him company.

Willow, in a rather bad mood it would seem. After last nights little ho-ha, came stalking into the shop assuming it was empty. "I swear, if you don't stop that I'm going to keep on ingoring you." She growled towards nothing at all.
"I don't care if you want to move on. I can't help anyone till I know why you are." She crossed her arms and stood there for a moment her ears twitching and then she looked over to the Harpy sitting on the sill quickly her expression turned from mad to rather slightly embaressed. "Go shoo." She muttered as she walked off from the ghost.
"Allo." She said towards Carl peeking at what he was holding in his hands. "What cha got?" She asked curiously.

He recognized the voice, but when Carl turned to look at Willow - he was given a rather big surprise. "Hey Will-....oh....Willow, you got BIG. Erm..." Mind, he hadn't meant it to be insulting, but the eagle hadn't at all expected Willow to have grown quite so much...or at all. He looked her up and down for a minute, but eventualy gave a smile of approval before nodding and holding out his pendant for her to see. "I got it on a trip I took. I think it rather suits me."
(( I don't remember if Carl had met Willow after she grew, and I didn't see any rps with them in it, so bear with me. sweatdrop

Willow chuckled rubbing hte back of her neck. "Yeah...it's been a while." She said softlying climbing up to the sill to sit with Carl. "It's pretty." She said with a nod her tail flickering softly.
"How've you been?" She quaried with a grinned before adding, "Oh yeah Toby's a teen too by the way." She nodded mater of factly like.

Toby was a teen as well? My, he had been missing out on the new happenings. Either way, his growing was only a matter of time, and he was sure it would be just as glorious as Tobys' was. "I've been ok. I've grown some to you know. I can almost lift five pounds!" A feat indeed, considering he was only seven inches tall and roughly about a pound in muscle weight. He rolled up his sleeve and flexed his arm a bit, allowing her to admire his well defined figure.

Willow hid a snicker shaking her head. "Well well. Five pounds you say!? That is cool, that's what five times you're own weight?"
Her tail flickered as she looked at his muscle. "Maybe one of these days you can bench press 10?" She ponder, hrm there seemed to be a lack of things to do in the shop. Taking her back pack from her shoulder she peeked inside of it. Pulling out her velveteen sized marbles.
"you ever play Marbles?" She asked Carl, last her and Toby played it was rather fun.

"Maybe! I'm working on getting up to six, but it's hard not to get squished under the weights...." Not that Donna had been stupid enough to buy her son real weights. Carl refered to tiny toy weights his mom had found out one day and fashioned to look realistic to please her avian achiever. That part...he decided to leave out. Rather, he slid down his sleeve and curiously peered at the objects she'd pulled out. "Marbles? No, I can't say I have, care to show me?"

Willow chuckled, "I'd imange so. I wouldn't touch the things, I can keep lean by climbing when I have to."
She shook her head, "I think I'm the only one in this shop that knows how to play... well toby learned fast enough." She said in a musing mannor. Waving her paw behind her as if to swat off something rather invisible.
"I told you.... I'm not bothering with you until you tell me what's got you all bugged." She said in a sing song voice towards what she was swating and then hoped down off the sill and sat on the floor legs tucked under her. "MArbles are quite simple." She stated as she pulled out a peice of chalk and make a circle on the floor. It'd be easy to wipe up with her paw after they where finished.
"All you have to do is get as many of the marbles out as you can and the one with the most wins." She dumped out the marbles. There were 22 of them, 20 small ones and 2 larger ones. "The larger ones are used to break the smaller ones, and they'll roll out of the circle and you get to keep the ones outside of the circle."

Carl hopped down after her and gingerly picked up one of the larger marbles between his claws. As strong as he was, he acted very delicate with the glass sphere, almost as if scared he'd actually break the smaller orbs with it. "So we split them up and try to knock each others marbles out?"
That seemed simple enough, but the bird refused to look like a fool in mistaken first attempt at this new game, and thus thought it better if he were instead to do the polite thing. He set down his marble and gestured to the circle, his features giving way to a charming grin that he'd practised for weeks infront of the mirror - just for such an occasion. "Ladies first."

"No no to split them up as in break. Like you would in pool.... speaking of pool I wonder if LP's found a velvet sized table yet..." She shurged having gone off topic and then back on topic.
"Fine, you and toby are just alike you know that." Last time she had just flipped a coin but she didn't have one on her. She picked up the marble and chuckled, "Oh yeah these things are hard to break incase you're wondered. LP's dropped them on concert while she was standing up and it didn't break so they're pretty durible."
She nodded before Eyeing the marbles and rolling her larger one towards them. -Edit- [Epp forgot to pick up the said emarbles] After they'd been knocked out willow picked up those that were outsid ehte circle and set them beside her. "Simple enough right?"

Carl watched how willow proceeded to roll the large marble towards the group and attempted to imitate her own motions with his own. He lay it down where it seemed it would do the most damage and very tentatively flicked it with his talon, hoping to succeed in doing some damage so as not to seem clumsy. The marble shot forwards once the tip of the talon struck it on, and in great anticipation, he watched to see how many he'd strike.
And boy did it strike! The large projectile was like a cannon-ball and struck hard and swift, sending his targets scattering every which way. He gathered up those that were now beyond the circle, comming to thirteen by the sheer magnitude of their captors will.
That....and some dumb luck.

Willow looked at the marbles that were left. Dang... three, Carl was having some good beggingers luck. She laughed, "Well that's one way to do it!
Her tail flickered, "Last time me and Toby tied." She said with a chuckle. Shaking her head, she rolled again aiming for the last three. She picked up the marble she'd knocked out.

Carl grinned and pollished the marble against his hoodie. "We'll play again after this. It's fun, and perhaps you'll beat me next game - who knows?" Not that he wasn't sure that he would perform well. Even if he DID somehow lose, no one could accuse Carl of a bad show of it, and he was determined to impress the older and more experianced Velvet. He again set it down and struck the marble, only managing one out of two this time. He picked it up and set it asside, knowing well that the last one was all Willows.
(( It's just being wonky. Willow is gawesome, nomatter what the Randomizer wants to do. xd ))

Willow chuckled, "WEll that figures." She rolled the marble and it struck the last one out. "I dont think we need to count them it's clear who won this round."
She swept the marbles that she had in her possision intothe circle again her tail flickering. "Since you won you get to go first after all the marbles are together.

Carl pushed all the marbles he'd knocked out back into the ring, counting to make sure all twenty were there. Once he was sure of it, he positioned his marble, took aim, and forcefully whacked the ball into the ring.
And again they all clashed! By the time the chain reaction of might he'd sent hurtling into the marble cosmos was done and over with, only one lonely little marble lay still in the ring, looking rather pitiful all on its lonesome. Well that was certainly over quick...
"Erm...Let's try again? You go first."
And again he pushed all the marbles back into the circle and waited for Willow to make her move. Hopefully he wouldn't slaughter this game wit hhis excellent appraisal of distance and position as he had the last two.
(( The randomizer is being difficult. xd Carl is basically knocking the crap out of the marbles. xd ))
