Kadogo had once again slipped out of the Mpinzani packlands and was out roaming the freelands. Everything at home he knew like the back of his paw. He'd grown up there - knew ever hidey hole and the stretch of land was simply Home. Nothing of interest or excite there to keep him, but bonds of blood, bonds of family....that he'd sworn to protect.
So it wasn't entirely for his own sake he was out of them, sniffing at unknown scents and exploring the unknown. Yes, he'd been born out of his skull. But the dog was also on the look out for any threats from the pack from outside. Serious buissness, these "Long Patrols".

She walked at a slow leasurely pace across the savannah. The leopard was cool and uncaring to all those around her; all she cared for was safe back at her home at the jungle's edge. She'd grown tired of the same scene, however, and had taken to up and moving on this trip that she was now on. She'd run across all sorts of goodies she could take back home- shiny rocks, cool looking bones... She'd even stolen an entire carcass from a lion! How she loved to take things-whether they were hers or not.
She perked up at the sound of another individual crossing the lands... Her routine thought process triggered. Wonder if whatever it is has anything of interest that I could take off their paws... She wondered, not altering her path.

Okay, nothing threatening to the Mpinzani pack out here....no sir...time to just play...
Kaddy started to run full pelt after a hare just for the fun of it, when he spotted the sandy creature from afar. Like his disant domestic cousins, he bounded after it with his tail held high, barking once or twice loudly. This was for fun, not for food. And he didn;t even check that he wasn't chasing it towards anyone.

Kizuka's ears picked up two sets of foot-falls, one of which was far more frantic than the other. A rabbit, with a dog in pursuit, both of which were headed right for her. She checked around her to make sure that there was a tree she could retreat to if necessary, and there was. She smirked as she lowered herself into the grass preparing to launch herself at the prey.
Almost... Not quite... NOW! She thought as the hare approached. She stuck out a paw quickly and slammed it down on the hare, breaking its back in the process. She dragged it towards herself and quickly gave a life-killing bite. The leopard stood up to see the status of the dog that had been chasing after it. She smirked with it hanging in her mouth. Not only had she stolen a life, but she had stolen a kill too.

"An easy hunt for you, leopardess." Kadogo pulled up short of the cat, eyebrows raised in surprise. He didn't seem angry or annoyed. He had been playing with the hare - though he probably should have felt bad scaring it so - and hadn't considered it his own. So he lost nelt but a fleeting past time.
" 'Bye"He nodded his head and started to walk away, steps still bouncy.
(Sorry Light ^^' He'd just walk away methinks. )
