I'm not sure is she's the one that Sasuke is looking to join forces with, or if it's someone else.. I know I might be speaking way too soon.. but maybe other people will get ideas to pair them up! Ehhh.. I was hoping for no more new females because it would be more likely that there will be more couples people like to make up... So yeah. And when she says "This chakra.. C-Could it be..?", Do you think she means Sasuke??? ARGH. Maybe I'm just thinking too much??? Please discuss what you think.. about the funny sexy jutsu and the new characters..

Though I like SasuSaku, I hate Sasuke, so that picture burned my eyes more than a little.
If Kishimoto can play it off the way I like pairings, I wouldn't mind Sasuke/Unnamed girl.

That girl might be Karin, whom Sasuke wants to join forces with, and when she says, "This chakra.. C-Could it be..?", She might be talking about Suigetsu.. or Sugetsu.. whichever.. That guy did say he didn't like the other 2 people Sasuke said he would go join up with so maybe he's met that girl already and she knows him as well.. I hope so. Heh. I just don't want this mystery girl knowing Sasuke even though Sakura is pretty much the only girl he interacts with.. HMm. But how does he even know her?? (If she is the Karin girl) Sasuke said he wanted to join forces with her but it probably means he knows her power and such.. *GASP*
Errr... I'm feeling pessimistic now.
C'mon, Sakura, meet up with Sasuke again soon!

But like I said before, this girl probably means nothing to Sasuke. This girl won't come between Sasuke and Sakura.! Sakura's the only girl he's been friends with and opened up too, he wouldn't let some girl that he doesn't even know and never met in his life, just start liking her out of the blue..
But when Sasuke looked up at the Great Naruto Bridge, he smiled =), and it was like " remember the times i had here smile ".
I can feel another Team 7 reunion coming on... hopefully soon!

I can feel another Team 7 reunion coming on... hopefully soon!I thought that to at first, but with closer inspection... I don't think he was. I'll have to wait for a higher quality scan to confirm it though. But I don't think he was... ><;; Edit: With closer inspection on a cleaner scan I've come to the conclusion that I have absolutely no idea. It's between a very slight smile and no expression at all. But the reaction in the panel before that shows he was suprised at least. o.o Makes me wonder even more about what he's thinking. ><

I saw it last night, and I have to say, part of me is slightly disturbed at the fact that it's pretty much yaoi, and part of me is fangirling like Sakura. HAH. Sakura is a yaoi fan. So there. blaugh
I found the chapter rather intriguing with all the fanservice, though. Lots of buttshots, a yuri shot, and a yaoi shot of Sai and Sasuke to boot. Whoo. *fans self* I believe Kishi-sensei is turning ecchi on us. I hope he turns shoujo soon - I wouldn't mind seeing some SasuSaku fluff.
As for the new girl, Karin, we're shown her behind, but nothing else. Hopefully Sasuke doesn't find her behind as cute as Sakura's doesn't fall in love with her. Of course, seeing as how Sakura is the only girl he's interacted with on emotional terms, I'm not threatened by a new kunoichi's presence too much.

gah~ I'm happy-happy with the fanservice even though it was kind of a turn-off, but still. by the way...Why'd Kishimoto give us a buttshot of the karin girl, he could have just given us uh...backshot? Anyway, I hope he doesn't fall in love with her randomly because look, like what the others said sakura is the only female he actually became friends with. This chapter was just whacked...O.o

Ofcourse he took it calmly. razz Also, I can confidently tell you all Sasuke is not going to fall in love with this girl. If there's anything I've learned from watching Naruto, is that Kishimoto understands human emotions, and his characters are REAL, unlike most other animes. Kishimoto isn't going to suddenly make Sasuke fall in 'love' with this new girl. That's not how it works, and it's deffinately not in Sasuke's character. The girl, however, might develop some sort of crush on him. Who knows, this is our first time meeting her, but it deffinately isn't going to bloom into real love. Atleast not on Sasuke's part.

Why did I doubt you Kishimoto?? As MooMooJuice said, the characters of Naruto are well developed and Masashi Kishimoto truly understands the realness of them. Especially since Sasuke and Sakura are main characters. If that girl does start to like Sasuke, I know that Kishimoto won't easily make it requited.. Geez. If Sasuke won't fall in love with Sakura (meaning he didn't totally accept her in the beginning) then he definitely won't fall for this girl!!!

AW. I knew that the Great Naruto Bridge would be shown later in the story! I loved the Village Hidden in the Mist arc and I'm hoping Masashi will reference them a bit.. heh. OH. And yes. I think Sasuke was smirking because he remembered his team 7 and their first high-rank mission that time!

i read the chapter last night and when i got to that page i screamed out '' THERE IS A GOD!'' heart biggest fan girl moment in meh life.
as for that girl,,, i hope she has cool powers... like she can do suiton or something... i hope she dosent get in the way of sasuke and sakura. if she does ill be pissed . She will be interesting... Kishi is starting to kick it up a notch.
