biggrin Anyway, as for explanations why I got to the theory of Asuka being part of the Kazama-Mishima Circle, here's the thing (aside from the Jin-Jun and Kazuya-Asuka coincidence in names)
Jun is the chosen one. Rumored to be an angel, or "possessed" by an angel (just as Kazuya *fact* is possessed by devil), resulting in a half-breed, Jin (devil angel. We know that from the wings and white wings and the difference bet. him and devil). Jun was also said to have negated Kazuya's powers, thus bearing his son (there are clues in TTT). She lived in Yakushima. She raised Jin in Yakushima.
Asuka. Apparently able to negate Jin's devil powers, though she's not aware of it (as Jun was, it is assumed). She's a Kazama, so it may be possible that the "angel" blood is genetic.
BUT
Jun was the chosen one. It is therefore easy to assume she is the carrier of the angel gene, just as Kazuya is the main carrier of the devil gene. Angel and Devil gene combined in Jun and Kazuya's son, Jin.
In the years before Jun's supposed death, the devil gene never reared its head in Jin, until Jun supposedly died, and Jin fled the safety of Yakushima forest and to his grandpa. The devil gene awakened when he was nearly killed by Heihachi.
Kazuya was alive all this time. Asuka was born four years after Jin. She is said to live with her father, a Kazama, in Osaka.
At least in my fic, I made it out so that Kazuya came back to Jun, had a child with her, and to protect the child (so that if devil comes after Jun, it would only be taking one child instead of two), she sends Asuka to her "brother" in Osaka, thus, Asuka's angel gene dominates. Unless provoked like what happened to Jin...

biggrin R so you can imagine my shock when I saw Asuka in red:
Addition: Kazuya was not surprised he had a son. He knew he had a son. How could he have known that, if not for some kind of communication with Jun?
'Course this is all speculation, a fan-crazed girl's imagination and it's fiction so feel free to believe it or not. As for me, I wanna see Asuka as a devil/angel hybrid.
twisted Last tidbit. The Kazamas and Mishimas have color-coding for their costumes: Red, Yellow, Black and White (jun's red can be found in a tiny label at the back of her pants, and her yellow in some clips at the front)
