((Private Rp for me and Taerar Licorne. : O PM to be added~!)) Kieran tried to convice himself that this was the right thing to do. Licorice seemed like such a nice girl when they first met, so he knew it would be best to go and find her after he had to leave so soon. Even the blue numa's mate, Nalikai, had convinced him to do this. He just didn't want her to get the wrong idea, that was all. Hopefully she wouldn't.
"Ah....Licorice?" He asked the air, looking around, his blue tail swaying at his side. He wsa hopefully near where the others said she lived, so he continued to survey the area, looking for the black and white female numa. "Licorice! It's me, Kieran. I just wanted to stop by after what happened last night. I want to apologize for running off so quick. I was just..hoping I could get to know you better, that's all."

Licorice looked up from where she was drinking from the grape soda river upon hearing her name. She twitched her ears and stood on her hind legs to look around, squeaking when she saw the beautiful blue male from before. "I-I'm over h-here...!" she meekly called, lifting a paw to wave to him as she wrapped her tail around herself for support. She was always so nervous meeting new Numas! What if they did not like the way she smelled? She smelled like the black and red things from the swamp - only Beatrice liked it so far.

Hearing the soft sound of her voice, Kieran quickly padded after the echo, finding the girl very close by. He ran down to the river, smiling sweetly.
"Hello again, Licorice." He sat down next to her, tilting his head slightly in greeting, a smile splitting his lips. "I trust you have been well, hm?" He chuckled and looked out across the flowing river.

"Y-Yes, I've been fine," Licorice stammered in response as she looked down at her feet timidly. She remembered the last comment the blue Numa had given her during their first meeting, and it still caught her by surprise. "Wh-What about you...?" she asked, looking up at him meekly. She was still nearly speechless at how pretty he was though she knew "pretty" was not the right word for a male - still, his blue markings were breathtaking as were his bright horns. If allowed, Licorice could stare at him all day and be perfectly content.

"Me? I've been good, thank you." He nodded idly. "Better now, though, that I know you aren't angry with me, or anything of the sort." He licked the top of a light blue dipped paw.
"I just was worried about the other day, that's all. I had to run off really quickly, and I didn't want it to look like I was rude..." He explained, moving to claw at the grass near the river.

"Oh, that's okay!" Licorice responded to reassure him. "I wasn't offended though I wasn't sure why you left in such a hurry." She looked back down at her paws, her ears tilting back a little from embarrassment. "I was...actually a little afraid you left because you didn't like me - very few Numas like the way I smell..." She smelled like her namesake which was found in the swamp - a place most Numas naturally avoided to stay as far away from the Coffee Witch as possible, so she was not surprised she was avoided too even if it hurt.

Kieran did a double take. "Oh, no! I wouldn't leave because of you! Of course not~" His voice went up an octave in trying to convince her about what he said.
"Because...they dont like the way you smell?" His head tilted to the side. "That's weird....and kind of mean. I would never dislike someone for the way they smelled...." The numa frowned a little bit, saddened that there were numa who would actually do that to another of their kind.
"Even if I did desert numas becaue of their smell, it wouldn't matter." He smiled. "I would never desert you." He put a paw on hers, smiling brighter. "I know you're a great friend, and I would at least wait until I met you before deciding to leave you. Well, that, and I can't smell amazingly well, either." He chuckled. "I usually need the wind's help and such. So dont worry at all, alright?" He hoped this would cheer her up. She seemed like disappointment was a normal thing, and making her happy was somthing Kieran wanted to do.
Because of not being able to smell real well, he did have trouble with lots of things, like finding food, and his mate at times.

Licorice blinked at Kieran, surprised at his claim. "You can't?" she asked, tilting her head. That was a relief at first, but at the same time, how horrible! Did that mean he could not smell good things too like caramel or pineapple gummies? "O-Oh..." Licorice smiled at him shyly. "I-I won't worry then." She hesitated, blushing at his paw on hers as she struggled for something to talk about - anything to keep him here with her. "U-Um...d-do you want to go...um...f-fishing?" She winced inwardly - that was a rather dumb thing to ask, especially since they were already sitting here at the river where the Swedish Fish could be caught anyway. At this rate, he was going to think there was something wrong with her other than her smell!

He smiled wider as she paused and tried to find something to think of. It was cute how she tried so hard to impress him. He didn't need for her to do all that. Kieran just liked company, and he wouldn't of just up and left the girl.
"Fishing?" He looked out across the river again. This did look like a good day for fishing. "Sure! If you've like to, I'd be happy to." He chuckled and pulled his paw back finally, still smiling. "I'm not very good, but trying never hurt anyone."

Licorice fidgetted nervously. "I'm n-not too good at it either...b-but it's something fun to do," she admitted. Actually, she was terrible at it and usually just ended up soaking herself to the bone and scraping up her paws. Now she worried she would humiliate herself in front of him. Still, it was too late to decide on something else if she could come up with anything else at all, so she looked back down at the river and batted halfheartedly at a lone fish which had become curious and was peering up at them through the soda.

"Come on!" He decided to be a little playful, nudging her closer to the river. Kieran smirked and took his spot a bit farther away, positioning himself on the bank quietly in front of a little group of the fish. When one got closer, he tackled it, drenching himself in the grape soda, and laughing aloud as the drink dripped from him. "Haha...whoops." He smiled cheekily.

Licorice yelped as she was splashed, blinked a few times, and smiled, hopping after him into the river. Now more relaxed, she pounced at some of the fish then tried to herd them toward Kieran, not an easy task with fish, but it was fun nonetheless. Licorice yelped sharply when she slipped and ended up face first in the river, only her wings sticking up from the purple soda.

Kieran laughed aloud, stepping carefully over some fish nearby to stand next to Licorice and pick her up out of the soda before something worse happened.
"Hey, y-you okay?" He could barely ask through his little snickers. "You didn't hurt youself, did you?" He fixed her hair with a soft paw, wanting so much to lick her clean, but didn't want her to get the wrong idea. That wouldn't be good. So he repressed it, instead just pulling her to the riverbank and laying down next to her.

Licorice blushed horribly as Kieran helped her out of the river, embarrassed. "I-I'm fine," she assured him, starting to lick herself clean. "Wh-What about you?" she asked before impulsively licking an excessively soaked part of his cheek without thinking about it first. She blushed when she realized what she'd done and quickly apologized, stammering and shuffling her feet nervously.

"Ah-" the boy flushed brightly as she licked his face. He didn't take offense, though, he just smiled. "It's alright, you dont have to apologize." He chuckled and licked her ear, just to get back at the black and white girl.
"I'm alright. That was fun, yeah?"
