Syd Barrett was a founding member of Pink Floyd. He wrote a lot of the earlier songs such as "Bike" and "Astronomy Domine" He also has some pretty interesting solo stuff. Tell me I'm not the only one that listens to him.

I love early Floyd with him, but I think I like his solo work even more. heart

His songwritting style is insane but tottally awesome!

The writing style is a little strange, but what makes even less sense is how in a few of the tracks on The Madcap Laughs, he seems to kind of trail off in the middle of a song and they just left it that way.

It's some kind of authenticity thing. But he was getting pretty crazy by that time anyway.
