I found that I can kickflip while in my normal ollie position eek
But anyways, you will want to start like you would an ollie but keep your front foot behind the front 4 bolts, your toes need to be lined up with the (Goofy: left set Regular: Right set) of bolts. You will then want to start off like you would an ollie but kick you front foot out, when the board is spinning, you have a fraction of a second to move your feet back to the bolts of your board or eles you might snap your tail/nose off like I did once xd
When you jump, you want to lift your legs up as far as possible and at the peak of the jump, connect back with your board when it's on the grip side. You want to be looking at your board while doing this or eles you will never get timing down and will never land a flip worth while.
Note: I usually wear down my griptape before I do flips because my feet stick too well on the board. You can usually wear it down by finding a gap, stair, or anything to ollie on/off. do this for about a week or so and the tape shouldnt be as coarse.

I'm having trouble with this. I get the board to flip (occasionally twice), but I can't keep the board under me. Most of the time goes it goes in front of me, sometimes to the left. I haven't once gotten the board to stay under me.
