It was another day for an adventure for Theodore. Seeing how today looked pretty good, his mood was pretty good. The air was filled with marshmallowie goodness. One of his favorite things to munch on.
Sitting down with his mouth full of marshmallows and a peppermints he had stolen from the other Numa that shared his home with him. Oh, how he didn't like her. Though, taking her stuff was always fun. He did an evil grin. He felt like making a bit of chaos today. Perhaps her could find someone to make it with.

He put his paw back in the grape soda water. He almost had it this time but the slippery goodness that was fish had escaped his grasp once more. His paw swished around in the grape soda, his fur was getting sticky but he could always lick it off later. He did like grape soda, his tongue went out to lick his lips and that was just from thinking about it.
His claws brushed against something smooth and sleek and his heart raced with anticipation. Would he be able to catch his dinner this time? His heart pounded in his chest as he looked down, it was hard to see in the water, being all purple and all. He though he saw a glimpse of a fishy shadow and his other front paw went deep inside the depths of that grape soda water.
He grabbed the fish, and raised his paws up. The slippery beast flailed about in his paws, it wanted to get back to the water. But Terale was hungry and when he was hungry.....he had to eat, even if it wasn't at a usual time when he was supposed to eat. He brought the fish closer, towards his mouth, and it slipped from his grasp.
Terale watched, his expression falling with every bounce the fish took until it got back into the water, disappearing in the purpleness. He stared at his paws, his jaw dropped wide open in surprise. After a few seconds or maybe minutes he closed his mouth, once closed it formed into a pout, something he tended to do when he did not get his way.
"You stupid fish!!" He howled and flung himself on the ground, pouting more dramatically. "You were supposed to be my dinner." He cried out, pointing one red and gold paw at the water, that stupid fish. Couldn't it understand that it was supposed to be his dinner?

Before Theodore could cram yet another marshmallow in his mouth, he finally heard the person who would help him create some chaos. Or at least, he hoped that was who it was going to help him. He placed one of his front paws on the ground in front of him, dropping the marshmallow from it. Looking about he noticed that he was quite close to the Great Grape Soda River.
Then, his eyes came down a pond a small Numa. Red and gold. He smirked, setting his other paw on the ground and walking towards the little numa. "Trouble?" He asked seeing that the Numa was drenched in purple soda goo. it was always a pain to clean that out of his fur, but the swim was always worth it.
His tail flicked highly in the air. Perhaps their chaos was nothing but to torture some fish? Mmmmm. That sure sounded good. Indeed, he had just eaten a few bites of marshmallow and peppermints but he always had room for a delicious Swedish fish.

He sniffed loudly, and he wiped one of his arms over his eyes, though he tried to make it look as if he was touching his tuft of hair on his head. He looked up and over to where the voice had come from. The Numa was grey with spots all over and had very bright eyes.
Purple eyes. He continued to stare at the Numa, well more like continuing to gawk at, his pout still on his face. His yellowy gold eyes shined, as if he had been crying like a baby but Terale would deny ever crying like a baby over a silly matter like losing a fish.
"Yes trouble." He put his face in a paw, looking very much frustrated and put-out. "The stupid fish," He pointed his other free front paw over at the river. "Got away cause it bit me." Okay the fish didn't bite him, Terale didn't even know if fish had teeth or not, but this Numa didn't know that so a tiny white lie couldn't hurt.

Theodore smiled at the little Numa pup. It was his first encounter with one, so it was slightly strange. He didn't laugh at the little one for crying, in fact, he knew what it was like to get frustrated with little things. He sat down only a few feet away from the young one.
"Those fish can be tricky." He said, his tail had stopped flicking as he sat down. Now it just slowly lifted the end and went down ever so often. "The tick is, you've got to dig your nails in the side of the fish." He said pulling up one of his paw and showed his claws to the little on.

His eyes moved, watching the tail flick up and down, his ears perked up at the sounds of the other Numa talking. Up and down, up and down. His lips mouthed slowly to the words in his head. He blinked in confusion when he saw a claw within his eye's sight.
His eyes bulged out, those claws were HUGE! His mouth opened and closed, they were much bigger than his own. Terale looked down at his own paws, they were so much smaller and the claws....even smaller. Once again he felt uneasy at being small.
"Dig in my claws." He repeated, before nodding energetically. "Yes! That's it." He moved over to the water edge and lifted a paw. "Show me first." Terale turned back to the adult Numa, you shouldn't trust strangers, they could be lying.

Theodore smiled and stood up. Turning towards the river, he lifted a paw and saluted the little one. "My pleasure!" He place his paw back on the ground and watched the river for a second. Ears back, front half of body low to he ground, his tail and butt high in the air.
His tail was swishing back and forth playfully as he continued to watch the river. His tongue was sticking out of his mouth just a little bit. All was quiet, then....
Leaping into the water, he opened his eyes as he looked for a fish. There it was, the one he had just seen. It's color as bright as the little numas eyes. He pushed it upward to the surface of the water so the little one could see what was happening.
As soon as he was right underneath the surface he grabbed the fish, digging his claws into the side of it and lifting it up in the air. His fur was now drenched and sticky. Very sticky, but that was no problem. His once silver and white fur, was now dark and light purple. He licked his lips as he felt the soda drip down his face.
"See!" He said shaking his head and turning towards the numa. Not getting out yet, just in case the little one wanted him to show him again. He swam a little closer using his free front paw and his back legs. "it's not to hard once you get the hang of it."

He blinked in surprise. This Numa actually was going to show him how to catch a fish properly. Terale could of sworn there would be a disagreement to his demands but there wasn't. This Numa was.......nice. He wrinkled his nose, yeah right.
Terale watched as this Numa caught the fish, dunking himself right into that sticky purple, yet yummy grape soda. Gross, he was so purple now. A paw touched his mouth, hiding his grin. This Numa may be nice but not that smart, now he was all sticky!
"I get it now." He nodded before bursting into a fit of giggles. It wasn't that mean, to laugh, right? It was way too funny, the whole sight of this Numa. He looked again at the purple mess that was now this adult Numa.

He laughed as he swam to shore, seeing how the Numa saw how it was done. Ah. To him, this was lunch. He had already began to lick his claws with one of his paws as he got closer. It was so good, the river, and the taste of the yellowish fish on his other paws claws.
He slowly got out of the river, throwing the yellow, now dead, fish on the ground a few feet away from the river just in case it wasn't totally dead. Slipping on the shore and getting a few steps away before shacking off some of the purple soda. His normal color was back, except the white fluff on his chest and head. It still seemed to have kept the purple sticky mess there. He didn't mind too much. Pushing his head fluff out of his eyes he looked to the other Numa.
"And that's how you catch a fish. It's your turn!" He said as he sat down next to his fish and went to grooming his tail. It'd be rather hard to groom his head fluff and his chest fluff, but that'd be easy when he could find a friend to help him out. Of course, his friend would most likely be Jazz. His newest interest at the moment. Seeing how his lovely friend, Beatrice, had found two males already.
Shame really, but that didn't bother him much. In fact, he was happy about that. It left him not getting pulled into a three way relationship. He stopped grooming himself for a minute, he did after all, want to eat that yummy fish he caught. He licked his lips and grabbed it with his paws and took a nice chunk out of the side of it.
Gooey yellow slime came out of the fish. The best part. It was so sweet, and yummy. Now his face had a bit of yellow on it too. Licking his lips he went to take another bite and stopped and looked to the other Numa. "Don't be afraid to just jump in. You'll never catch a fish if you stay on shore."

"I'm gonna catch a bigger fish than you." He nodded, a look of determination in his eyes. He walked over to the river's edge again, looking into the water. He bent down and put his front paws in, they made ripples in the water as he swirled them about.
Waiting was so boring. That was the thing he hated about catching his own food and acting grown up, it was so very boring, especially when you had to wait for dinner to come your way. Or foraging for food in the land, sure there was sweets all about but Terale only liked certain sweets and sometimes he couldn't remember which grew where.
No fish yet, he pouted again. He was getting frustrated again and he threw a somewhat dirty glance at the adult Numa. He was about to turn back to the water but stopped and watched as the Numa ate a chunk out of the fish, yellow slimey stuff slipping out of his mouth and into his fur. He made a face, Terale was sure he didn't eat like that. He was much neater.
At the Numa's words about diving into the water Terale shook his head vehemently. "No way!." He turned his head to the side, "That's just gross and makes me icky and then I gotta have a bath." He pulled another face.

He laughed and set down the fish in his hands. He wasn't as hungry as he thought he was. It was most likely from what he had ate not too long ago. "Well, sure it'll make you sticky, but filling up your belly is more important then a hours work of cleaning yourself." He nodded and licked at his paw. He didn't care that he was too messy. In fact, it was best for him to get a bit messier before he set on cleaning himself.
"Plus, swimming is half the fun. " He said winking at the little one and getting up. He stood next to the other for a second then lept back into the water. So today wasn't as chaotic as he wanted, but maybe things would turn out differently. Sure, if the other would get into the river, they could have a bit of fun of swimming after the fish and throwing them about.
Though, it was hard to run into someone that would have the same sence of fun that he had. Though, in an hour or two this would probably wouldn't be as fun as he thought it to be now. It all depened on how he was. He never could quite understand why he was so unstable compared to others.
His mind turned away from that thought as he looked to the other numa. "Come on! You'll like swimming once you get in." Or at least, Theodore thought he should like it. He was a male Numa after all. Though, he did run into some that weren't exactly swimmers.

"An hour!" He groaned, he'd rather have that bath he would be forced to have if he came home sticky. "Food is good but cleaning is long and boring." He wrinkled his nose at the thought of cleaning and being cleaned.
"Swimming is okay." He shrugged. He was a much better swimmer than he used to be but the fear of drowning still haunted the back of his mind. His stomach growled, he tried to ignore it but it was so loud and demanding. Stupid belly.
He eyed the river, he saw a shadow of a fish and his mind stopped. His hunger took over. Terale leaped in, splashing grape soda all about. His entire fur was soaked, and he knew he'd be sticky once out. He dunked under the water, trying to find that fish.
His paws brushed the slippery coat of the fish and his claws dug in. His back legs kicked hard, as he raised his two front paws in the air, waving about a green fish. "I did it!" He gurgled out, as grape soda went into his mouth. Swimming with only his back legs was hard.

He smiled as he watched the little one jump into the water. Though, he was splashing about a bit too much. He'd have to help him with that too. It'd scare away all the fish before they got too close. But what made the little one jump in if he didn't want to groom himself.
His answer came quickly after he asked himself this. The little Numa had found himself a fish. "Well done!" He said excitivly. He'd never really thought someone how to do something like this, so it was pretty awesome. He was proud of the little one.
"Well done, indeed!" he clapped his paws together as he floated down stream alittle. As he got alittle further away he swam back to where he was. He made sure he was close enough that if he had to save the little guy from the water, but far enough away to let him enjoy his first fish.
Finally, he realized he'd not said his name yet. How stupid of him. Well, how rude of him! "Oh! I almost forgot! I'm Theodore. You can call me Theo, if you'd like." he said not bothering to try to shake the little tikes paw.

He grinned proudly, his first fish, he was so going to go home tonight and gloat about to all who would listen to him. Which tended to not be that many. Which was mostly his fault because sometimes he went a bit over the top in his explanations on how things had happened.
He put the fish in his mouth and swam to shore. He climbed up and put the fish on the ground, he laid down by it and tried to fit the whole thing in his mouth. Succeeding, Terale climbed to his paws happily. His cheeks were puffed out with the struggle of having that entire fish, which was a lot smaller than the one the other Numa caught, in his mouth.
He chewed on it and the tail of the fish popped out of his mouth. Terale chewd some more and the tail moved lightly as his mouth moved. He sucked the fish tail in, making a slurping sound as he did so. He licked his lips. A now green tongue, courtesy of the green jelly fish, went back into his mouth.
"That was soooo good." It really was good, especially when he finally got to eat. Terale also felt that he ate that fish much better than the other Numa did, more well mannered. Or not. He jumped back into the river, it was a lot of fun. But mostly because he had someone with him to play with.
"Theo." He tested the nickname out, it sounded fine, much better than Theodore anyway. He saw another shadow of a fish and he dunked under the soda, forgetting about giving his own name. He tried to catch the fish but Terale could not find it, it was hard to catch things, with not having his eyes open to see.
He rose back up above where he could open his eyes and see. "Oh." He blinked and looked over at Theo, he forgot to do something. He knew he forgot something, what did he forgot. His tiny body moved in the soda, kicking about and trying to stay above the soda. What did he have to say? Oh he knew now!
"Thank you for teaching me how to catch fish properly." He didn't look all that thankful but Terale remembered somewhere that pleases and thank yous was good because it made others think he was a good Numa pup. Sorrys were good also, got him out of trouble sometimes.
