Today I watched the Varsity play, and they were in Over time, up by three and only 15 seconds to go. Then our team shoots it at mid jumper, and the guy isn't even that great at shooting, he shoots it and almost costs the game. The other team got it, shot a three at the last second when they were wide open, and if the had made that, it would have been Double Over time. You see, one stupid move can cost the game. I remember in 4th grade, I shot it just because I hardly got the ball, I mean I sucked and I shot it cus I never got passed to. I miss, almost cost us the game, but my lock down defense saved it with a block at the very end. cool

True. You should also give respect to the other team as well by accepting the win fair and square.

Even if you do lose the game on a missed shot and the team blames you, remember, they didn't make all the shots they've ever taken. They aren't perfect in every aspect of the game.
What they did back in the first quarter is as much to blame as what you did in the last seconds.

It's not the fact that he missed, it's the fact that he shot it instead of holding it. I don't care if you're like Kolbe at the three, you should shoot it unless it's an easy lay up, or there's no time on the clock.
