I'm speaking in a Post's perspective, so this probably won't be very helpful to gaurds... Well I'm a center and I know what it's like when you get it down low. You're the big man, you wanna go straight up and draw the foul. Well today, for once I didn't go up every time it was 1 on 1 and I passed it outside to a gaurd, he shot the three ball and drained it. I'm not the type of guy you see making assists, but I fealt good, I got an assist. Just remember, you don't have to go for it every time, you can pass it out every now and then and give other people a chance. by the way, my junior hig team finished the seaosn with a W We beatt hem by 20 our first time winning by double digits.

It's a hard thing to do. I agree. Good coaches look for people willing to do more than score though. If you start to include your team in your game, only good things can happen for you.
If that's not enough...STEVE NASH CAN DO IT!

Unless you're Kobe or Jordan, you should pass the ball.

Ok I gotcha. This is just basics. When you're open, you most likely shoot. When not, you pass to another teammate. Dont force a shot you couldnt make when there's your teammate wide open who has a higher percentage of sinking his shot.

Reminds me of our former Point Guard. Extremely greedy!
