Original Characters are part of the point of fanfics, but nobody likes a mary sue. When Inuyasha's long lost sister or cousin or half-nephew shows up, veteran fanfic readers give a groan. However, you can't keep working with the exact cast of characters the TV show provides. Stories would be dull if Inuyasha and his friends just kept bickering with Naraku and his current incarnations.
New villains are what make episodes interesting. They add suspense and plot twist with their disguised forms and unknown powers, and they provide some diverting relief from the quest-to-defeat-naraku main story.
What are your Inuyasha bad guys, either well-developed fanfic characters, or just loose ideas?

Yes first person ......ummmm I think I read correctly but I pretty sure u said whats your ideas for inuyasha villians . Well I thought of a guy who was trapped after fighting his demon rival , in adamint (however you spell it ) . But then he woke up and meets inuyasha and the rest of them .So he doesn't remeber a thing but then in the end comes to find out inuyasha is his nephew and then on a certain night he changes into like this spiky crystal monster thing . I thought that would be cool .
