Here's a thread for all of you to introduce yourselves!
I'll start...
A/S/L- 21/M/Minnesota
Drum experience- I have been drumming for 10 years. Drums are my life! I am in 7 bands and ensambles at college here in Minnesota. I also play for a progressive metal band called Promethius as well as recording for a few local bands and side projects.
My drums- I have a Yamaha custom 6-piece drum set with Sabian AAX cymbals. I recently swiched to Tama Iron Cobra pedals and I still use Vic Firth drum sticks (Steve Gadd and Dave Weckel signatures) for most stuff (but I use Pro-Mark 5B Oak sticks for metal). I have both Remo (toms) and Aquarian (bass) heads.
Right now I'm in college, so I'm playin a 9 piece Hart Dynamics electronic drumset I got for my dorm.
Other stuff- I play soccer, basketball, and guitar too. I also write and compose songs.

Drum Experience- I've been drumming since I was ten years old and that's about six years or so. I currently own a Pearl Masterworks drumset that I got last year from my parents. I use Zildjian cymbals (splash, hi-hat, crash, china) and my heads are both Remo and Aquarian, I use DW pedals. I am in the school band and the jazz band which is pretty cool. I also may play for others if they need a drummer
Other- I play ice hockey and have been playing it since I was two or three. I am a huge fan of the New York Rangers. I also motocross (have been doing it since I was six) and four-wheel.

Drum experience- I have been drumming for 6 years. I play drum set in the school's jazz band, have a screamo-esque band of my own, and I play for the church.
My drums- I have a Pearl Export 5 pc with a mix of Zildjian, Sabian, and Paiste cymbals. I use Remo Pinstripes on toms and a Remo Emperor on snare. I use a Pearl PT500 double pedal and the majority of my hardware is Pearl.
Other stuff- I am quite the video-game junkie, I spend quite a bit of time writing lyrics, and I am first-chair tuba in the school's marching and concert band.

Sixteen/Female/England.
Drum Experience: Comparative to everyone else, Ive only been playing a measly five months. Im not in any school bands, as Ive just left and finally finished compulsory education (Insert big Woo!) Im looking to get a band set up, but I want to wait until Ive been playing a lot longer.
My Drums: I have an 8-piece Yamaha Rydeen Kit. I know nothing amazing but Im only a beginner. I use Zildjian cymbals (Hi-hat, crash and ride), Remo heads, Yahama pedals and Zildjian 5B sticks with tips.
Other stuff: Im extremely interested in all aspects of music, I write Lyrics and what can I say, Im a complete video game whore. I also do Duke of Edinburgh, but I doubt anyone in America knows of that, and lots of other random things. I had an Electric Guitar, kept breaking the strings and then managed to blow the amp. I never really liked it too much anyway, drums where my passion.

Drum-expirience- I've been drumming for about only 2 years, including 2 years percussion and 1 year set so you can be guessing I don't have much of a professional drumset. I just have a verve set with Zildjian ride, crash, splash and verve high-hat w/ vic firth sticks. Currently looking to join a band [though not many people play guitar where I live] I play howver, in the school band. Other - I like biking, DDR, hacky sack, guns, knives, video games. Sort of a tomboy.

Drum Experience: About 4 months >_>, joining band this year in high school.
Drums: Orbitone silver 5 piece, with Remo WeatherKing snare.
Cymbals: 14" hats, 20" ride, 2 17" crash.
Other: I like camping and listening to music alot. Other than that, I just hang out with my friends and drum.

my drum experience: i have been playing drum for six or seven years now. i have taken lessons for about four years. i am currently not taking lessons, but will start again in the fall. i am in one band, i have played percussion at school for 4 years, entering my fifth. i have played at a local bar three times to date.
my drums: i have tama rockstar custom drum set. it consists of a hi-hat, snare, bass, three toms (one being a floor tom), two crashes, and one ride cymbal. all of the cymbals are zildjian. right now, all the heads (except for the bass head) have the original tama heads. my bass has an evans head. my snare head is close to breaking. when it happens, i have an evans head to replace it.
other: well, i love music, video games, and hanging out with my friends. i am fortunate enough to have a recording studio in my basement. i started drum corps a few months ago (kinda a by product of getting screwed out of drum line, goddamn you shanley!). there, i play bass 1. i was in jazz band for two years. i don't plan on being in jazz band again. however, i do plan on going out for a show choir band.
influences: i listen to a variety of music. from green day to my chemical romance to alkaline trio to the wallflowers to third eye blind.

Drum experience- I been drumming for two years now. I play in one band.
My drums- I have a Taye rockset i think. I got used. Anyways it has one hi-hat, snare, bass, 1 crash, 1 ride, 3 toms (including floor). the cymbals are zildjian.
Other stuff-Going to concerts, computers, video games, reading, psychology, anime. I also like playing jazz on drums as well as rock. my favorite band is sleater-kinney.

AKILLA I currently own a Pearl Masterworks drumset that I got last year from my parents. You horrible, horrible, lucky person!!! xd Can I play them!? I really want a reference series set crying Hey, I'm Jimmy, from Central Oregon. A married guy. Oh, and kinda long-winded. Sorry. Exp: I've been playing percussion for about 9-10 years, and the drumset for about 7 years. Style: Jazz, Fusion, Hardcore, Funk, and just about anything else (I've played a country gig for a wedding, before). My Drums: Pearl 2003 Export Select, Fusion set, Cobalt Mist. Stock tom and bass heads, Aquarian "high energy" snare head w/ power dot. Pearl Eliminator double bass pedals (belt-drive) (white cams are on, right now). Sabian cymbals: 14" sound control crash, 20" tight ride, 13" fusion hh's, 10" HHX splash. Oh, and a li'l ridge rider cowbell. Vic firth 7a's preferred (I have random sticks everywhere). My band: http://www.soundclick.com/blissdeficitPiano is actually my first instrument (I hear people argue that it's a percussive instrument, though!), but I (unfortunately) stopped playing trumpet for a while, and really focused on my drumset. I am also a composer, writing anything from exercises (I'm writing a book for drummers) to solo piano pieces to full orchestral scores. Favorite Drummers: Marco Minneman, Virgil Donati, Mike Terrana, Tommy Igoe (mostly because he was the first drummer I ever saw play solo)... and a few others.

Drum experience- Ive been drumming for 6 years. I started playing set 2 years ago. 3 in december! I LOVE PLAYING. I tap on everything and am always thinking about drums without actually...thinking about it! I tried out for freshman jazz band, made it, and there wasnt one. so im trying out for the upperclassmen jazz band this fall!
My drums- I have a CB crying . plus a sabian XS ride! biggrin . its my pride and joy! For sticks I use Vic Firth SD9 Drivers. they are the best Ive ever used.
Other stuff- I'm taking keyboard lessons starting tomorrow!!!! cant wait till i become music literate!

I have been drumming for about 4 years now. I just recently started taking lessons a couple months ago, its going kinda slow. But anyways, I have been given the chance to play alot. xd I am currently in 3 official bands, and many countless side projects. I play in my youth group's teen band and in church on sundays, as well as percussion anytime possible. My favorite styles are Funk, Fusion, and well... everything. I like to switch it up alot.
My Drums--I own a Pacific Drums and Percussion set crying
(a branch of DW) I have various hardware, and A mix of Zildjian K series, Sabian B8's, and Zildjian zbt's cymbals

my drums are a 5pc groove percussion which are not that great i have remo heads and have been playing for about a year and as soon as i got my drums i started a band and i never took lessons. i really dont do anything other than play with my band

Experiance: I have been studying percussion for onward of eight years now in a variety of styles. My primary focus has been jazz, however I also branch out into funk and latin styles, including Brazilian and Afro-Cuban.
Gear:
Drums: Sonor Force 3003
10-12-14 toms, however I only am currently playing with the 10 and 12 inchers.
20X17" Kick drum
14"X5" Snare.
Heads: Aquarian Modern Vintage medium thickness heads on on snare and toms with an Aquarian snare-side head. Soon to be an Evans EMAD bass drum head. I have yet to change the resonator heads from the stock ones I received.
Sticks: I am currently playing the Bill Stewart signature stick by Zildjian and the Lewis Nash stick by Regal Tip.
Other Stuff: I am currently at the Hartt school of music studying music production. I am a dedicated musician. If I think of anything else, I'll post it.

Drumming experience: I have been playing for about... 4-5 years now. I play a kit, and mainly play progressive rock music. I am in a band, and jam with a really awesome bassist thats my age. I also jam with my dad, who is the most amazing bassist I know or have ever heard.
Other crap: I like computers, I play guitar and bass, but drums is my main instrument. And I like video games.
