How do you view blatantly religious context in popular entertainment, good OR bad?
I thought about this while I was playing Doom 3. For those who don't know, the plot is basically that teleportation experiments in a research facility on Mars go awry, and open up a gateway to Hell, after which demons pour through. I realized that I also play Titan Quest, a game about Greek mythology, and so I really consider religion mainly good for entertainment, since it's basically just fantasy, which I do like.
What are your thoughts on this?

I personally don't have a problem with it if the context is right. Usually, its use in movies and other forms of media shows how much of religion is based on myth, superstition and dramatic structure instead of historical events.
