The great lakes of Gaia are open for fishing, and as such Arafel decided to make little fishing kits for the BKAC. Wing and tail friendly! And as long as you don't break them they're free to any Kinder.

MoogerMint walked along the trail to the lakes, grinning widely as she thought of the fun that this may bring her and her new child, Hajari. It may even bring the two closer! She stopped suddenly, pivoting on a heel as she looked down at the little harpy boy, shaking her head as she looked at him sitting in the grass. "Come on, Haj. It's okay. It'll be fun!"
Hajari picked himself up out of the short grass, dusting his knees off although they were already stained green. He looked unsure for a moment before nodding, running to MoogerMint's side. "Okay, mommy," he reasoned, hugging her leg tightly as if she were protecting him from some unseen force.
As they got to the bank, MoogerMint pulled out the fishing kit that Arafel had so graciously bestowed upon the little child. She unstrapped a small fishing rod for Hajari as he grabbed for it eagerly with his stubby fingers, giggling, pleased. She smiled, ears twitching as she heard others coming up the path...

Lester went up to the lake all by himself, he fancied himself as a grown up and grownups walked alone and all his family was at home anyway, nursing 'the egg', which he disliked greatly becuase it took all is attention, his family and besides, to him it looked useless, annoying and stupid. Lester took out his fishing rod and got ready to fish, muttering things about the harpy egg under his nose.

As MoogerMint attempted to teach little Hajari how to cast a line, Hajari's eyes seemed to wander to a spot a little ways down the banks. He watched him steadily, almost as if he were studying the demon's movements. "And then you.... Haj?" MoogerMint continued before she realized the harpy child wasn't listening anymore. "What is it?" When no answer came, she followed Hajari's eyes down the lake to Lester, who was fishing too. MoogerMint grinned, "You want to go meet him?"
Hajari's feathered ears immediately perked up as he spun his head around to face her's, shocked. "N-No! No!" he said, his shyness blaring through his normally calm features.
MoogerMint smirked. "Oh, come on, now. You can't hide forever! Your gonna need to make friends!" she stated as she grabbed the struggling form of Hajari by the wrist, dragging him along.
"Hello, there!" MoogerMint started invitingly to Lester as they came upon the contemplating demon. Hajari hid almost immediately behind MoogerMint's leg. Moogz continued, "Hajari here was wondering if you'd like to talk."
Hajari shook his head rapidly, horror-struck, before MoogerMint moved aside and pushed him in between Lester and herself. "No, Mom! N-- Hi...!" he cut himself off, turning red with embarrassment as he waved to the demon.

Lester lifted his head as someone called to him and he looked up, waving at the woman and her little 'bird boy' before walking up and leaving all his stuff were he had put it before, to lazy to take it with him. "Hi!" he said, to both, the shy bird boy and his adoptive mother, "I'm Lester" he said, smiling, his green eye's studying the harpy boy, wondering if the egg his mother had brought home would hatch into one of these too.

Hands bunched up at his chin nervously, Hajari nodded to Lester as he introduced himself. He stopped himself from looking up at his mother as he responded, "N-Nice to meet you. My name is Hajari."
MoogerMint smiled. "Well, it seems you two are getting along here. I'll just go over here and leave you two alone. If you need anything, I'll be within earshot. See ya!"
Hajari cringed, keeping himself from grabbing onto Moogz's legs in a desperate attempt to get her to stay; he had good self-control skills in that respect. He whimpered almost inaudibly, but stopped as soon as he realized she was just going down the bank to fish, keeping an eye on them. He sighed as he turned back to Lester, a little less nervous. "So what you wanna do? Want to fish?" he asked the older satyr. That is what they came here to do, after all, wasn't it?
MoogerMint laughed to herself quietly, watching the bobbing line as she listened in on the two boys.

"Pleased to meet you" said Lester, politely and then nodded as the lady walked off to fish. "Sure" he said and nodded towards he fishing gear, lying on the same place he left it, not far off. "Sor your a harpy?" he quickly asked, "I'm a demon satir myself" he said, he liked calling himself a satir since he looked exactly like one although people still knew he was a demon.

Hajari ran off to quickly grab his fishing kit and back to Lester's side. He smiled up at him, panting from the excess energy he expended while running. "Alright, I'm ready too!" he stated, plopping himself on the bank and setting down his small tackle box. He still didn't know how to fish, but he was eager to learn.
Hajari nodded to Lester's question. "Yep! Full-blooded harpy, that I am!" he almost sang, grinning. "I've never met a satyr before, or a demon! It's nice to meet you," he added, leaving out the fact that he had never met any other banir before besides his harpy brethren.
Gripping the fishing pole steadily in both palms, he stared at its slender figure for a few moments. Pink tinted his cheeks as he suddenly remembered he didn't listen to a word MoogerMint had said while teaching him to fish, he slowly turned his head to Lester once more. "Ehh... can you... teach me how to fish?"

Lester smiled and then shrugged, "I've never actually fished before" he said as she picked up his own fishing gear and took out the rod, "but you have to put a worm on the end of the long rope, or so I've heard" he said and put a worm on the hook, "and I think you throw it into the water" and with a quick lash he threw it into the water, "were you saved from the von Helson tower?" he quickly asked.

Mimicking Lester's movements, Hajari flipped open his small tackle box and searched for a worm with his fingers, sticking his hand in each compartment. Finding the worm, he quickly snagged one and attempted to skewer it's thin body on the hooks point. It took a couple tries to get it right, but his stubby fingers managed to accomplish the task.
Throwing his arms back with rod in hand, his arms sprang back forward as if his arms were on springs, throwing the hook and worm as far as he could, which was only a couple of feet from shore. He blinked a few times, looking at the dancing fishing line, and sighed. "Oh well, far enough." MoogerMint snickered from down the bank, telling herself it was a good first shot, especially for the older Lester.
He held his rod steadily, almost remarkably for one his age, as he turned back to Lester to reply. "Yeah, they weren't very nice. When we heard they were planning to get rid of us, we thought the rescuers were exterminators," he laughed. "But they weren't. Did you know I was saved by one of my mom's wolves? Hehe! Were you saved from somewhere too?"

Lester held is rod as it swayed a bit in the wind, "I was just 'found' by one of my mum's friends (or my sisters, best friends mum to be exact) and I was given to my mum. . ." he said, remembering the time before he was 'found' and shuttered, it was really more like rescuing. "My mum was in the von helson tower in the rescue mission" he said and then he rod began to dangles and he knew that he had caught a fish but didn't know what to do now.

Hajari noticed Lester's bitter recollection of his past and remained silent, afraid he may have caught on something unwanted. When Lester continued with the rescue at the Von Helson mansion, Hajari perked up a bit, glad that the demon was alright. "Really? Did she rescue anyone?" he asked, wide-eyed. At least they had some things in common.
MoogerMint was gleeful at how well the two were getting along, their personalities almost complementing eachother. She saw the two banir kinder children jump at a sudden snag on Lester's line and snickered. "Pull at the rod and reel it in quickly!" she offered, shaking her head and smiling.
Hajari perked his feathered ears at MoogerMint's command and grabbed the top of Lester's rod in a helpful attempt, dropping his own. "Did you hear my mom? I'll help!" he said, pulling as he let Lester reel it in. "It's... hard!" he managed through clenched teeth.

Lester nodded and then began to reel quickly, not knowing if there was a special way for it or just to spin it. Suddenly Lester saw a fairly large fish flopping in the water and trying to escape the capture, if his sister Sarah was here she would have screamed for them to let the poor thing go, but now, she wasn't here and Lester didn't want to loose his first fish ever caught so he continued pulling, forgetting everything about their conversation before.

Hajari opened an eye slightly as he heard the splash of the fish. He let out a happy laugh as he saw it was coming nearer to the bank. "Don't let it go!" he said as he pulled harder, the lake almost working against them in pulling.
Just then, MoogerMint heard the soft padding of paws on the dirt road behind her. Turning, she spotted two of her wolves, Mikadzuki and Gingitsune. The siblings quickly reached her spot, glancing over at the two struggling to catch their first fish. Mikadzuki, not letting his eyes waver from the children, asked, "Shouldn't we help them?"
MoogerMint shook her head, not even flinching to look. "They need to learn on their own. Besides, their doing a fabulous job. They just need to keep at it and they'll catch that lil' bugger in no time." Gingitsune gave a toothy wolf-grin in agreement, but Mikadzuki kept a watchful eye on the two.
As the fish neared the bank, Hajari gave a stressed grunt. "I think we only need one more big pull and we've got it. On three, okay? One... two... three!" With the last word, Hajari pulled on the rod with all his might, expecting Lester to do the same.

Lester nodded and when Hajari counted to three Lester kicked the his legs forward, pulling with all his might and then, suddenly, after the big pull, the fish flopped out on the bank of the lake and Lester gave a tired sign of relief, quickly jumping and grabbing the fish so it didn't jump back into the lake, and he quickly put it in a large glass tank which his young sister gave to him for the fishing trip.
