Tiki Jim sat with Waikiki KiKi in his arms. She was asleep, which was good because Tiki Jim had gotten pretty tried himself. He had his eyes closed and resting, but not asleep. At least he wouldn't admit he was asleep to anyone.

Reira opened the door to their small home quietly, so as not to disturb the baby in her arms. She was humming a little something, making her best effort to put Waikiki Keanu to sleep, and it seemed to be working. Closing the door behind her, she walked over to the crib set up on one side of the room and set the boy down.
She then spotted Tiki Jim and Waikiki Kiki sleeping on the couch and smiled. As carefully as she could, she took the girl from her father and delivered her to the crib to be with her brother. When the two didn't stir, she was satisfied that they were asleep. Returning to the sofa, she planted a light kiss on her mate's cheek. "Looks like the kids are the only ones worn out, hmm?"

Tiki Jim chuckled softly as he opened his eyes. "I can see why my parents only had one." He then winked as of course they would have taken as many babies as they got. Tiki Jim was just the lucky one and only.
"What should we do now?" He asked in a hushed voice as he looked over to see the babies sleeping.

"Yeah," Reira sighed as she settled in next to him. Honestly, though, she wouldn't trade her two children for the world.
"I don't know!..." She replied, faking a shocked concern. "I'm not sure if they've ever both slept at the same time..." A small smile appeared on her lips. "I would say let's go out, but we can't just leave them here..." She snuggled in close to Tiki Jim while she tried to think of something. Though it really hadn't been that long, it seemed like ages since it was just the two of them.

Tiki Jim put his arm around Reira with a smile. "Something quite and inside. How about the limbo? Ah, that can get loud if you aren't careful." Tiki Jim covered his mouth as he wanted to laugh, which was always a bit loud.

Reira didn't think to cover her mouth until a giggle had already escaped, and she quickly buried her face against Tiki Jim's side to muffle the sound. It had been such a trick to get both the kids to sleep; she couldn't ruin it now. She recovered and responded as seriously as she could, "Yeah, I probably make a fairly loud thump when I hit the ground..." She recognized that she wasn't the most graceful of Pae, and she didn't mind the love of her life knowing that.
"...Hmm, what else...?" she mused thoughtfully.

Tiki Jim smiled brigtly. "I think you're cute when you fall." He winked at her and blushed a little. The third generation hula pae began to think again. What could they do indoors that wasn't noisey?

((The babies grew up! *happy dance* heart They're such cuties. Should we wait a bit to have them grow here or just let them do the typical ruining of the peace? xD ))
"Well, thank you," Reira responded with a smile, doing her best to keep her voice down. "I think you're handsome all the time," she continued coyly, reaching up for a kiss. She wasn't normally selfish about much, but she was certainly glad to have Tiki Jim all to herself. Life just wouldn't be the same without him.
"How about we just stay right here and enjoy not having to run around with diapers and bottles for a while, hmm?"

((I think we should grow them up, but we can wait just a little bit. Or have them ruin their parents moment. Whichever you like! lol They are very cute. biggrin ))
Tiki Jim smiled and kissed Reira back. He too was enjoying just having her near him and relaxing. It wasn't like they got moments like this often. So, it was nice to take them when they could. "That sounds awesome."
Waikiki KiKi moved in her sleep feeling something was going to happen, but not yet.

((I agree that we should grow them, and I think it seems realistic that they kill a bit of a moment. xd They're toddlers now, after all! ))
Waikiki Keanu awoke as his sister bumped against him in her sleep. He seemed to sense that everything wasn't okay with her, and he felt a little strange himself. He began to sniffle, but held off on any sort of huge fit.
Reira was quickly getting lost in the moment, happy to not only get to spend some time with Tiki Jim but also to not have to worry about the kids, even if it was just for a few minutes. However, a sound reached her ears and she immediately hopped up with a slight flutter of her wings, managing to land somewhat gracefully on her feet. Sure enough, her little boy wasn't looking to happy. "Aww, my baby, what's wrong?" she asked, doing her best to pick him up without disturbing his sister. She looked back to Tiki Jim and shrugged. Everything seemed fine...

((lol ture! biggrin ))
Waikiki KiKi awoke as she felt she was different. Maybe that's because she was now a toddler. Which wasn't to much different and yet, she wanted to crawl around now. "Ahh!! hee hee." He said as she looked at her brother.
Tiki Jim walked slowly after Reira. He knew it wouldn't last long. Oh well, it was okay. He saw them and smiled. "Are they toddlers now?" He kissed Reira's head.

Waikiki Keanu looked back at his sister when he heard her giggle. She looked a little different, but she seemed happy, so he stopped sniffling. Twisting around in his mother's arms, he reached back towards the crib.
"Yeah," Reira replied, setting the boy back down. "They're going to grow up quickly, aren't they?" She asked with a smile. Even if they woke her up at strange times, or ruined sweet moments, she still loved every minute with them. She returned the kiss before leaning over the edge of the crib to play with her daughter's hair. "Cute hair, sweetie," she giggled, admiring the unique contrast it had.

Tiki JIm smiled. "Should be set them down so they can crawl? I hear they have to try before then can or something." He wasn't fully sure as the only toddler he was around was a Naiad.
Waikiki KiKi giggled and smiled up at her mom and dad. "Ma..." She tried to say with a smile. She hopped it was right. KiKi then looked to Keanu with a smile and nod.

Reira nearly screamed with delight. Had her daughter just said "Ma"?? She picked up the girl with a proud smile. "Was that my little Kiki talking?" she asked. "Can you say 'Dad', too?"
She thought about what Tiki Jim said for a moment, still balancing Waikiki Kiki on her hip. "That certainly makes sense," she replied. Looking back to her daughter, she asked, "What do you think? Want to crawl some?"
Waikiki Keanu was very interested in what was going on. All his sister had done was make a noise, and everyone was excited! Enjoying all the happiness, he smiled and giggled.

Waikiki KiKi giggled a bit more. She didn't say dad or da but repated, "Ma...Ma..Ma." With a big nod as she did want to crawl. It looked like fun on the floor.
Tiki JIm picked up Waikiki Keanu and kissed his head. "Want to crawl around too little dude?" He smiled as he slowly set him down. Only if Keanu didn't make an objection to it.
