It mat not be a problem in other places, but it is here. Overpopulation. We have 20+ dogs just on my block, atleast 4 of witch are strays. An animal control van comes around every so often and picks a couple up. I feed and give them water and treats, and they're all real nice. But that doesn't matter to whoever keeps on calling control. One can barely walk. He'd probably go towards them;not away. Does anyone eelse has a problem like this where they live? I live in Alabamma.
(And,yes,I"m new. : D)

Overpopulation of dogs is a major problem in most of the U.S. and many other countries (especially undeveloped ones). The only solution is spaying and neutering dogs when they fall into your care, something of which I strongly approve, since far too many dogs are put down because they are never adopted.

We don't have much of a dog problem, but we do have a huge feral cat problem around here. Thankfully, we have a dedicated spay/neuter clinic that's helping reduce the population. smile
