[x] Tapping her knee-high boots on the hardwood floor as she put away freshly-cleaned dishes, Ferris was in an unusually good mood today. The birds are shining, the sun is singing~ ... Wait. Chuckling to herself, she took a stealthy look around to make sure she was alone. Assured by her solidarity, she began to swing her hips to the melody pumping from her MP3 player directly into her large, purple ears. "If you only knewwww..." She sang under her breath, her volume increasing as she lost herself in the song; "What I went through just to get to youuu, yeah!" Snapping a cupboard closed with her long slender tail, she grabbed a nearby spatula and began to use it as a microphone.

Unfortunatly for Ferris, she wasn't as alone as she had thought. Even though Gale was now an adult, he was still as mopey and quiet as he always had been. It had been a long time since he went back to the Wayward Pound seeing as he no longer needed to be dropped off there to be babysat and was old enough to know how to take care of himself.
But he figured it would probably be a nice quiet place to stop by and get some poetry written. However it was far from quiet as Gale opened the door and his ears were assaulted with loud singing coming from the kitchen area. But instead of complaining loudly he just made his way over towards the voice, having to duck a little through the doorway since he was well over six feet tall.
Yellow eyes just stared at the little purple feline, as if that alone would make her stop.

As Ferris spun around on one spiked heel to deliver a dramatic finish, the lyrics she had been singing suddenly ended in a high pitched yelp instead, as she spotted the large black cat intently watching her. In her eight years of life, she had had plenty of practice balancing in her often-irritating heels, but she still had trouble with them at times. Evidently, recieving a huge shock while balancing precariously on one heel counted as one of these times. She found her legs flying out from under her of their own volition, landing on her butt on the floor.
"Owww..." She whined, forgetting her embarrassment for a moment in the face of the pain caused by landing on the hardwood floor. She quickly remembered, however, and she looked up at the invader sullenly, hating to look like an idiot in front of a stranger. Especially one older than her. "Who... Are you?" She questioned in a mutinous tone.

Black ears perked high as the younger feline toppled over. Mostly on reflex he reached out for her, but was too late to catch her. Instead he reached down with a lanky arm for her to grab and help up. "Gale." He said, his voice deep yet quiet. "Sorry I butted in."

"Er..." Ferris started sheepishly, a little ashamed of the tone that had been a result of her embarrassment. "That's alright, I got a little carried away," she admitted, tentatively taking his hand and pulling herself shakily to her feet. Now on slightly more even footing with him, she still felt quite puny at her four feet to his six. Suddenly realizing she hadn't even returned his introduction, she hastily bowed. "My name is Ferris," she said with a sheepish grin. "It's nice to meet you, though these are strange circumstances."

"Nice to meet you too." The black cat gave her a tiny smile as he helped her up, shrugging. "S'ok. I sing to myself when I'm alone sometimes too." Yellow eyes looked down at her.
