Well, I always make something up because it is a whole lot more fun that way... Normally I just go in the informal cb topics and find someone else thats pretty good at rping, you know. Oh, I used to do a really unbending rp with weapons, gold and that stuff but its no fun when its too... restricting....
We might need more people first. I was planning to (after dinner) find some (talented) people to join... cool

Well thats fine and dandy, but if we don't have anyone to play then there's no point, is there?

Tushae (if that's how you spell it). Well, the novel was basically my idea, so I'm going to let you have creative control here. Oh and I don't like mushy romance because theres enough of it between me and another girl that writing anyone but her and making it mushy is totally just... eww.

[It's touche, with an accent aigu on the end. Well, here, let me copy and paste: "touché". Just for future reference]
Okay, well. I agree that too many crazy characters can make for a rather tangled thread; however, with the right plot and decent roleplayers, anything is possible. That's what I like about Gaia. There are so many things you can create and imagine, even within certain restrictions.
So with that in mind, I like made-up lands and exotic names. I especially like thorough made-up lands, since you can set your own rules, customs, etc. Honestly, I like creating threads more than I do roleplaying in them. x: Maybe that's just because there aren't many roleplayers that can actually live up to my expectations, once I've made the plot and such. Harsh, maybe, but true.

Oh, I'm the complete opposite of you, Splendid. I get bored planning roleplays, so I very rarely create my own. I think I don't like creating them because I used to make them, and put alot of effort into them at that, then I'd get maybe three, four roleplayers and the roleplay would last a day because of time zone clashes. I prefer going straight out there and roleplaying. I haven't created a roleplay since '05 I don't think - I usually just write stories instead.

Ideas is it? Oh I've got ideas and were it a decent hour that others were online at I'd post them but I'm on afternoons all this week and next so I'll be saving them until I can properly participate in a discussion of what might go on but I'll give some hints... lol. *Lame*
I woke up and looked into my mirror to make sure my hair didn't get too messed up from sleeping but upon gazing into the mirror I was startled to see that the world was ending before my eyes, there was no mirror but in its place a large hole in the wall beyond which a battle raged on between men. How could this be? Living in a land so far from any battle front this sight was entirely foreign to me as were the warriors beyond what was left of the four walls that surounded me. I stood there awe stricken as I watched my country men being slaughtered in the streets. Chaos.
(Don't ask me why I haven't written any books I just can't bring myself to finish anything I start. Something in my brain is broken that prevents me from ever finishing anything I am truely passionate about [atleast in the pg13 sense] in life)

You wanna know what my fave part of your post was, Jon? "Chaos."
Ah ha. Mostly for the obvious reason (my username =P), BUT I also like one-liners. I prefer the Hemingway approach to writing sentences. Direct, often short, sentences stating the action but leaving the interpretation of the meaning to the readers are swell. You know what I mean? [:
Also, that is not even a good hint. That could be about anything! x:
ALSO, @ [.Guacamole.], we should definitely get a vampire RP going. If you RP that genre better than most in the Barton Forums, then I'm game. ^^
ALSO, that is all.

Vampire rp sounds fun. I was thinking that it would be a good idea for Gaia to make a way of notifying you of updates to a forum thread when you log in but I doubt they will since they have that other thing (I currently cannot recall what it's called). They also need to fix the bloody link bar at the top. This disappearing secondary bar business is really ticking me off.
