is it better to save up for your most pricey quest item, or should you buy the cheapest one and get it off the list?

Buy store items first, and get them off the MP for cheap. Buy the items that are decreasing in value second, wait for a good price, and buy it on the MP. Then keep working for the items that are going up over time. Maybe right a plan for these?
Hope this helps... its my 2 cents.

Well... what are the price ranges? The more gold you have, the more you can make with it.

It's best to save up your money and try to get the expensive donation items first.
Always try to get the donation items first, then work on event items, and lastly...the commons.

its a pain saving gold sometimes, ide go for what u want most as your first item, as long as its reasonable, soemtimes market prices will drop on collectibles a month or so after if the market cools on them, but then again they can also go up, all depends on how many ppl buy and how popular they are....

If the most expensive item is an event or MC item, go for that first, MC's only go up in price over time while commons have a constant price, so theres no rush to get them.

Buy the most expensive first because if you start from the bottom the more expensive stuff might inflate thus youd have to wait longer.

Gaia's economy is an inherently inflationary system, so while there may be recessions from time to time, over the long run prices will only go up. Which means that over the long run, things will never be as cheap as they are now, so I would buy the most expensive items first.

I think the smartest thing to do, Would be to save up as much as you can, Then buy as many items off your wishlist as you can.
That's what I always do.
