 Wouldn't it be cool if there was a PW anime? I can just imagine it in my head. An intro espeically. Like, Law and Order, only anime and more comical. xD If there was a PW anime, I would watch it religiously. There's proabaly not a large enough fan base for PW, but at least there is still the manga. v__v

A PW/GS anime would be amazing.
But some people might find the courtroom scenes a bit boring (personally I wouldn't but you know you get the odd few).
I could just image it having an awesome opening like the ending song from The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. mrgreen

swim_this_way A PW/GS anime would be amazing. But some people might find the courtroom scenes a bit boring (personally I wouldn't but you know you get the odd few). I could just image it having an awesome opening like the ending song from The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. mrgreen I imagine the intro from Nadesico for it. xD Something eally epic-like. They'd just have to heat up the battles to get those people's attention! xD

A PW anime would be so awesome...they would just have to tweak the way a few things work, like cross-examination, and the series could be very cool. I have always found the court room scenes to be really intense and dramatic. And since the anime's Phoenix would already know what to do, the pace wouldn't slow down like it does in the game when you have to try and figure out what evidence to present and stuff like that.
I mean, they could make it a series with new cases not in the games, maybe even some cases that would hard to pull off in the games. But even if they don't do that, it would be awesome for them to at least make some OVAs based on the various cases from the games. I mean, how much easier can you get! You already have a plot, voice actors for the lawyers (just use the people who shout "OBJECTION!), characters, and fans!

I'd just import it. I stopped watching Dubbed Anime, unless the anime I saw that I like was first dubbed.
So in other words, if PW = ANIME I am importing since I want to see them now and am so Impatient on them.

Namely 1) The entire 4kids dubbing team 2) The guy at Capcom who agreed to let 4Kids dub PW and 3) a random hobo. Then I would hire Phoenix to defend me and claim that 4Kids bad dubbing caused me to go temporarly insane.

But anyway...I think an anime would be great. As for the court scenes, Death Note anime=perfect example of how to make slow scenes dramatic in a cheesy sparkly way x3
...Actually, if Madhouse did a PW anime (which they won't, but AGIRLCANDREAMWRIGHT?) I'd die several times over of happiness.

I don't even think 4kids could show it! Since most of the cases are murder, they'd have to show the opening credits...and that's it. xD Lol.

Anywho, I don't think Capcom would have much say in who would dub it, since licensing is fickle. It's like a bid for all, no? Unless it's changed last I checked.
Oh, and I second the OVAness. Or just a short canon series. Plus, if it's never dubbed, there's always bittor---*shot*

Hmm... As a suspence drama, I'd think a Phoenix Wright anime would be pretty awesome. I mean.. Something as similar as a detective anime.. such as Detective Conan, AKA Case Closed, is doing so well. When it comes to a Lawyer who may or may not have been at the scene of the crime to be able to investigate everything, and other happenings that may prevent Phoenix from any investigations, the writers can use some witnesses as a way to present false informations, which may be a bigger of a deal in a lawyer situation than in a detective's situation. I'dno. I'm just rambling on about this, but.. I just thought that a lawyer anime would technically have more potential of flexibility than that of a detective anime. o_o
