Wigling her nose in her sleep, consciousness began to linger in the restless pup as her eyes slowly began to crack open every so often. Squinting against the morning sunlight as the cave brightened the young pup shifted her head slightly to look out the opening into the morning world. She had been uninclined to go out and see the sunrises since what happened, a few times she had woken up and watched from the safety of the den yet somehow the magic was lost. Besides...from what happened last time she ran off, she now had a promise to keep to Dax to be at his side.
Speaking of that black pup, she shifted her head to look back at Dax as she curled halfway around him in her sleep. He never did seem to mind her being so close seeing as it had been this way since her first night staying with her new family. He was an awfully good source of heat in the night, not to mention she found his touch kept away her uneasyness during sleep. She had sworn her life to him for saving hers twice and she planned to live up to that promise.
Opening her jaws to let out a peaceful yawn as her limbs stretched out; returning to sleep was out of the question. She wanted to move, get out and run off her sleeping legs...now the question was if Dax was up for it too. Nudging her nose and muzzle against his cheek, Bindi whispered lighty so the rest of the family wouldn't hear.
"Dax...psssttt..."
Scootching a bit closer, she pulled on his ear lightly, determined to wake him up as her small tail swayed lightly on the ground. Glancing back to their family, she continued her pestering raid on the ebony boy.
"Come on Dax...I can't sleep. Lets go play!"
Eagerness in her quite vocals, she wore a chipper smile as she always did since she pushed back her termoil deep into her soul. Besides....why bring everyone else down with her sadness when she could help others be happy?

Blood.
Even in his dreams, the scent of blood wafted thick in the air as the scenery was dark- bleak with no source of light as howls seemed to pierce the silence and cut through the air with an eerie, haunting chill. He pivoted about, consumed in darkness as his icy, blue orbs darted around frantically for anyone or anything that was nearby. Where was Bindi, Mom, Dad, Fen, or Vashti and Eiros? Where was he? He whined, trying to conjure a howl but fear seemed to grip his heart and his tongue. He was alone, alone within the darkness-
Or so he thought.
Can you feel it? The time comes where you will realize what you are to become- where you will be the one to decide others fate, to kill and taste of the blood of your opponents oozing within your jaws. Come Dax, don't you want to feel the power and pride coursing through your veins? You were born to kill- born to forever abide within the darkness. This is your destiny.
That familiar voice- the one always lurking within the back of his mind rang audibly within his mind and his ears. He ducked his head low, ears flattened against his skull as hackles rose from out of his throat while his white ringed tail wildly thrashed behind him. Surges of chills shot through his spine as his fur bristled, standing on end.
"You know nothing about me," he growled, oblivious in realizing that his dream's reality was causing him to mumble the words outloud as well as to his shrouded demon. "And that's not my destiny; I make my own."
The voice chuckled, amused at the pups conviction.
Foolish child! You have learned nothing! But our time grows short, you realize this don't you? For your other half will have these battles with you- yes, such a bitter concept. But since you seem resentful to what truth I speak, you can battle with yourself about such conflict and torment.
Although Dax wouldn't admit it, he knew exactly of what the voice was speaking of. A deeper growl rose from the back of his throat as he wrinkled his muzle with pure despise.
"I can control my other half. But if you are not it- what are you?"
I am the torment of your mind, Dax. I am your doubt, your fear and your hatred. I am preparing the way for your darker side to finally break through and that time is now, the voice sneered, a deep tone filled with malice.
"Now? You ju-"
But before Dax could argue, the scene before him dissapeared as his eyes flickered- the sensation of a cold nose nudging against him as a soft whisper called out his name. Couldn't he have time to at least think about all this confusion? Fluttering his eyes open the ebony and white swirled pup moaned slightly as a yawn escaped from his maw.
"Bindi......." he moaned, shifting himself slightly and thumping his tail upon the den floor. "Can't we sleep for another five minutes?"
He didn't want to get up, oh no- not now. His mind was furiously at work with conjuring what exactly such a dream meant and if his darker side was truly to make itself known to him. He didn't need this- not now. His soul was shattered and his needs and desires were skewed. The previous voice, his mind was easy to control- but himself. That was a factor that he knew without a doubt would be a situation where tension and the extreme side to his own personality would be at play. Dax didn't want this to happen but, unfortunately, he had no choice. He would become the victim of his own wishes as the battle of light against dark would commence.
But when the first strike would be dealt was beyond his knowledge.

Tilting her head lightly, blonde ears swiveled foreward to catch his mumbling in his sleep. Catching sight of that tormented frown crossing his brow, Bindi let out a soft whimper of concern. Was he dreaming? It didn't look happy in any sense as she could only imagine what was going on in his head. In the short time she had known him, he seemed somewhat exclusive from the rest of his famile; it surprised her he let her this close to him.
"But Dax..." She persisted, "...You're talking in your sleep."
Perhaps that would wake him up? Lowing her ears back against her skull, her body slacked before slowly slinking away as she sat up. Desperately she wanted to ask him why he never expressed himself to his family, why he kept to himself...what he was thinking. However, Bindi was aware there was a time and place for everything and the time for her to find out was not at paw yet.
"Fine." Standing up as she still kept her voice quiet to let the family sleep longer, "Then you can catch up with me when you're more awake." It was a dirty trick, yet she figured it would be the best way to get him up and at'em.
Padding out into the brightness of the outdoors, the pup took a deep inhale of the morning air. A cheery smile curled on her lips as the sun warmed and set her fur alit in a glimmer; she had Dax and Jaxom to thank for not letting her fur get stained with blood. Shaking sporadically to rid herself of any dust and bugs collected during her sleep, her tail began to wag.
Reguardless....her head tilted back slightly to peek to see if Dax had taken the bait and decided to accompany her or not on this beautiful morning. Besides, who could sleep in when there was so much to do and see?
"I think its a nice day to explore..."
She proclaimed to herself, she still had no clue what treasures lay in these new packlands. There was always the chance they could find something absolutely amazing! Oh what a joy that would be!

The mind of the ebony and white swirled pup was silent; there was no voice that mocked him, berated him and made him feel inferior- there was simply, his own thoughts and reflections that wandered about within his head. Ever since he could remember, that strange voice had unceasingly tormented him, haunting him and chiding him to prepare for what destiny was soon to place within his paws. No- he wasn't as dark as he thought and nor was he twisted. But if he knew, if only he knew of what lurking, savage beast dwelt within him, then perhaps he could come to terms with himself. It was silly to think he was oblivious to all of this while, in fact, he knew that his personality and persona was split and shattered but he had no realization as to how far and how bloodthristy it actually was- well, only time would tell.
Feeling the warmth of the blonde pup withdraw from him and leaving him to feel the bitter n** of the cold morning, Dax supressed a shiver and clenched his jaws together. "Wha- waaaaaaait," he stammered, perking his jet black ears upwards as he slowly staggered to his feet.
Catch up with her? Outside where those two-leggers were last? Blinking wearily as he shook his head and slowly becoming more alert, the ebony and white swirled pup snorted and glanced back to where mom and dad slept along with Fen, Vashti and Eiros. It was more than likely that they would continue sleeping till the afternoon and that had yet to come to pass for another several hours or so.
Bindi and Dax had free time as well as playtime.
As Bindi padded out where the immaculate rays of the sun graced the outside world with tantilizing sensations and auromas, Dax drifted towards her, stepping lightly and carefully creeping near the den entrance.
"It's a good day 'cause no one will have to know," he added with a mischievous grin. "And there ain't much snow left."
Shifting and standing beside her, Dax shook off the dirt and collection of other assortments that had collected within his fur. As his tail slowly swayed side to side and his mysterious, icy blue orbs mulling across the scenery before them, the ebony and white swirled pup glanced towards the female.
"Where to?"

"Its a wonderful day..." Bindi breathed, her eyes half lidded as she remained still to enjoy the feeling of the sun as if it was her last. If she had learned anything during her short time alive and the experiences which had befallen unto her was that life had to be lived like each day was one's last. Who knew when the spark would fade from one's body and into the great unknown...when one would see their final sunset. From the passing of her mother, Bindi began to appreciate all this world had to offer and all she could gather and store from those around her.
Lowering her small torso to the earth in a humble stretching bow to the sun, she rose up before turning her clear sky orbs to Dax. "Spring is approaching fast it seems, and that means summer trails not far behind. I look foreward to the long nights and late sunrises Mother always spoke so fondly of." It was hard to believe at times she had never experienced any season fully yet, be it the warm nights of summer, or the full effects of the winter chill. She had descriptions of each season...yet the pup was eager to see with her own sights what miracles this world had to offer her.
Tilting her head lightly, the pup pondered on the question for a moment or two. From past experience she didn't have too many navigational spots on this new land seeing that she didn't wish to return to the hill; the memory would have been too painful now.
However....
"How about the small river?" Her small voice spoke up, a smile spreading over her maw.
"I would like to go back there, if you don't mind. Despite what happened there, it was a pretty spot. Perhaps it wont be as deadly now that its warm? Its not too far...so we'll be back in time before anyone is the wiser." Grinning in unison with Dax, she nipped at his ear before trotting up ahead on the wolf path.
With a bark and a playful wag of her tail, she jumped into a light jog as her nose began to lead her to the warming currents of the river.

His brows furrowed, tail swaying behind him as icy orbs looked outside of the den and narrowed towards the small grove of trees collaborated closely just off from the well trodded path that the family frequently used when traveling down towards the small rivers banks. But why- why did she want to go back? It was almost a miracle or perhaps something inside of him that provoked him to save her from the frigid waters of winter and now the same struggling pup who had grown in strength and stamina wanted to return to that very place? Dax bit his lower lip.
She is strong, isn't she Dax? His inner self mentioned, the sensation of his presence bristling the fur upon his neck as his orbs seemed to temporarily glaze over. You can be stronger- let me help you; let me show you. Wolves will fear you, you will deal others their fate. Power, isn't that what you want?
"What do you want?" He growled.
To bring you into the darkness, to bring you to your true self- let it consume you and never fear it; You will be unstoppable. Respect, dominance, a death bringer- isn't that what you desire?
"No- you don't know what I want," Dax spat, clenching his jaws together and witholding the hackles that so desperately wanted to sound out.
The voice chuckled, amused and thrilled by such an answer.
Oh- you know what and who I am, Dax. I am you- I am your darker half. I am Davon, the same darkness that once abided within Damu but now I am you and you are me. I know what you want because I can read your thoughts, I know them. I can cause my thoughts to become your own. Just as I do, you seek respect, dominance, power, and the ability to become great. Let me help you, Dax! Together- as one, we can make even the greatest of wolves plead for mercy. Fenuku and you- you will show no mercy. This is what the future holds and you will vanquish those who stand in your way, Davon spoke cooly, calm and persuasive as the words, for once, settled within the mind of Dax and aroused his senses. Power- yes, he had wanted that! Dominance- to be respected and looked upon with fear! Greatness- Davon knew, Davon was himself. Dax couldn't hide from himself. Both Dax and Fen were taken by the inner darkness, though Fenuku held a greater darkness that Dax had not reached, and though Dax had fought it off for a time he was now finally succumbing to the dakrness of himself- to the darkness of Davon.
What do you say, Dax?
The black and white swirled pup stood there for a moment, eyes still drifting off at the outside areas beyond the den as his ears perked up slowly and a suttle, small grin tucked at the corner of his maw.
"You make yourself known when I need the darkness to help me, Davon. Only when I need you- only when I need strength and need your aid. Got it?"
Understood. Believe me, Dax, you won't regret it,
Davon lightly laughed, slinking back into the depths of his mind and withdrawing his presence.
Returning back to conciousness, Dax's body jostled slightly as Bindi nipped at his ear and began to set off towards the small winding path that led to the small river that snaked through the packlands. Watching with orbs fixed upon her, Dax felt as if a weight had lifted from off his shoulders and that, for once, he was whole. That missing part of him- Davon, with him allied alongside him there was nothing that could stop him. He felt invincible, powerful and rejuvinated with a newfound sense of coming to know and understand himself. Dax- Davon, he was both light and dark but, if only he knew, that the darkness could not withstand light and such a light alongside darkness would be need to be extinguished.
Bounding off, Dax began to trail behind the blonde pup. "Bindi!" He called out as he ran with great agility towards her. "Wait up!"

"C'mon slowpoke! You're always trailing behind!" The merry jest rang out of her vocals in a sing-song mannor as she kept her pace...often wondering why he seemed to lag begind for so long before deciding otherwise he'd like to catch up to speed. Perhaps he really didn't want to go to the river?
He could have just said so...
Yet then why now was he wanting to? Ever confused yet knew it wise not to pry into his life for the meantime, her paws haulted in step as she stood before the stream. Flashing back in her memories to the cold winter's night as it sent a shiver down the blonde female's spine. Waiting till Dax caught up, she took a hesitant step into the chilled but significantly warmer waters; before stepping in with all paws. With eyes clouded as her memories drew back, her orbs drifted up as if to see the very starlit skies not too long ago when she was captive under the current's hold.
Solemnly treading along with the current, Bindi sought out the same spot to which the lay before as her eyes could almost see her tiny body's imprint in the sand...even though in the back of her mind she knew it was long since washed away. Lowering her body down into the water she laid there for a moment, her ice orbs shut as a shudder arose from her muscles...yet this time a smile crept on her maw.
Perhaps...she should have been greatful for this near death experience, for if it never happened she probably wouldn't have been blessed with metting Dax and his family. Even if her Mother's path might have been altered from not experiencing this night's almost tragic fate - Bindi didn't know if she would even risk not ever coming in contact with the ebony male back on shore. Feeling like her emotional torment with that night was beginning to pass peacefully now, she lifted her body out of the water and gave a vigorous shake to free her pelt of the chilled water droplets.
"Sometimes..." Her voice arose, "I wonder why fate brought you to me...how you managed to be there when no one else would be."
Treading back over to Dax, a content smile curled onto her paw as ice met ice when she caught his glance. Sure...he might have not been the most happy wolf, and sometimes he was just downright weird. However, something drew her to him like a wolf to howl at the moon...for one who saved her life and stayed with her on two accounts - he was the closest thing she had to family and happiness. She wasn't about to give that up for just anything...
"Maybe we're meant for something grand in the future...for some important cause." Giggling faintly, her eyes quickly cast to the side out of embarassment. "...but I mean...that's kinda a silly thought, ne?"

Damu?
Who was this 'Damu'? And why didn't he take advantage of Davon?
Such a strange thing!
Why would any wolf not want power?
For now, he banished the thought to the back of his mind as he glanced to where the blonde pup stood before the stream. Icy orbs narrowed towards her, the recollections of the night where he had found her- striving and fighting to live as she laid tired and fatigued within the grasp of the frigid waters. Even still- the memories of the fateful night still lingered fresh within his mind as if it was only two moons ago.
His fur seemed to bristle, heart beating faster as Bindi lay within the wakes of the water. Why would she want to return to the place where death almost took away her life? Perhaps it was something he just didn't understand or was meant not to understand. The black and white swirled male stood there, silently, as he tilted his head.
"Fate is a strange thing," he commented, his voice soft as he wrinkled his muzzle, trying to sort the pieces.
Black ears perked upwards as he tucked a smirk within the corner of his maw, tail wagging gently behind him as he nestled close to her- her warmth and comfort bringing peace and a defined sense of belonging.
"Every wolf is meant for somethin'. We just have to find out what it is- it's not a silly thought." Sheepishly smiling, Dax flickered his ears back as he shifted his paws within the sand.
"Maybe we're meant to stand out from the crowd and prove something- you know, like make a scene and fight for people."

With a short giggle emerging from her throat, her own tail wagged merrily behind her at his words. Dax was such a complex wolf that at times she didn't know what she should think about him. He was dark, almost depressing, then he would do a complete 360 turn and become caring and playful. It was almost as if there was a evil Dax and a good Dax battling for supremacy...yet that was just a silly story her mother told her to get her to always mind her mannors. Otherwise she would become bad and then ultimately lose herself; it was a scary thought even though it was just a fairytale. Just like the one of there being night during the day.
...who knew how wrong she would be in the future.
"You think?" Perking up, her maw tilted to the side lightly as she watched him while his sheepish smile melted the cold she felt from the stream. "I hope we can find out soon, that would be nice to just know and not be kept in the dark!"
Nuzzling up beside him, as she dwelled on his words; moments later she abruptly burst into laugher. The loud echo which shook her small body nearly sent her toppling down into the water. "Maybe you, but I can't even hunt....let alone actually do something brave and heroic like that. Perhaps i'll be fated to do something a little more...docile and in my capability." As her laughter died down to a mere giggle, her ice orbs shifted around the area before a devious plot drifted into her mindset.
"I wanted to come here to accept my past. To see what nearly took my life and get over the fear I had....yet it still doesn't seem right. Something's missing..." Smirking, she quickly darted back before using her paw to splash him with a wave of water. Beaming, she crouched slightly, "There! Now its perfect, since you were wet too!"
Turning tail as she bounded along downstream, she made sure to try and stay on the shallower end of the stream. "Catch me if you can, Dax!" She hollared back, her airy vocals alit with chime like laughter.

His icy orbs seemed to radiate, a strange, almost captivating gleam of light which abided within his eyes. Black ears swiveled- lips pursed slightly as his tail thumped once behind him upon the soft silt and sandy banks of the river before them. The black and white swirled wolf could feel Davon scavenging within his mind, preparing and waiting for when his assistance would be needed. But this newfound strength- this comfort, this feeling of power...Dax didn't fear anything and nor would he let anything stand in his way. Vengence, power, Rebellion were his newfound allies that whispered their instructions to him and his solemn mind. And he did as he pleased with the suggestions or drew out his own plans.
He was a rebel, he was a renegade, he was darkness.
Light against dark; good against evil.
If only he could fathome the internal battle and if only he could realize that it would lead the battle to consume the world and those around him as well.
"Sooner or later we'll know," he commented softly, pressing against her lightly as he stared into the water and into the reflection of a wolf who was well on his way of becoming what was destined yet the road would be riddled with death lurking at every corner, bloodshed, heartache and woe.
But that thought seemed to become disrupted as the blonde female burst into laughter. His ears shot upwards as his brows knited with a confusion and with the loss of how exactly to respond. Was it something he said? Biting down on his lower lip as a meager frown slid across his maw, Dax folded his ears back against his skull as he turned his gaze away slightly and back towards the water where he met his reflection face to face once again.
Glancing to the side as Bindi spoke, his head tilted slightly while his eyes retreated back to the waters edge.
"Everyone wolf can...they just have to make the decision and find the strength to be brave and take a risk," he replied.
For now, his attention seemed to fall back upon the water. Why did he keep looking at his reflection? He was still the same but the longer he kept looking, the more he envisioned a wolf- a true rebel, commencing chaos and leading revolts within the woods and the outside lands. A mercenary, one who could be summoned for deeds of bloodshed and a feared individual. Fixing his eyes upon the water and oblivious as to what Bindi was up to, his image suddenly shattered as a wave of chilling water splashed forth and doused him.
His teeth chattered twice while his eyes darted and narrowed towards the female. Clenching his jaws as his ears pinned against his head, the black and white swirled wolf shook vigorously as he tried to rid of what water was still clung to his fur.
"Bindi!" He grumbled, watching as she darted down the shallow parts of the river.
Crouching low, the pup burst into great, bounding strides as he tried to catch the fleeing blonde.
"Don't think I'll let you off that easy!" He hollared back, paws sweeping across the sandy and silted banks as he was gaining speed.
This was war.

Laughing merrily, Bindi could feel her relaxed vocals chide out loudly as she felt general glee to the demi-rare opportunities like this. It was just her and Dax, running around without a care or worry in the world as if reality hasn't begun to burden their lives. If only time didn't have to move on slowly and they could live in this peaceful state forever; yet she knew better then that and knew even at such a tender age to cherish every moment as if it was her last.
"Don't think i'll make this easy for you!"
As the water kicked up by her heels splashed lightly behind her dashing frame, she sped along the river shore with an increasing ammount of speed and agility; thanks to her growing body. True, Bindi was a runt and smaller than most pups; yet as adolecenthood set in she began to catch up to normal size. Thank goodness! She was quite worried she would be small and tiny forever, luckily her overly concerned suspiciouns were as usual - untrue.
Yet a rumble in her stomach began to distract the young pup from their playtime antics. Boy, was she hungry! Jaxom hadn't had the chance to go for their daily meals....and Bindi usually ate last thanks to her mentality that the family would get their share first. Afterall...she was the smallest and technically a guest; often spouting lies of her not being hungry if there was little left over. No need to go out of the way to hunt again for her sake - right?
Perhaps if Bindi was more knowledgeable, she would have peiced her lack of eating was stunting her much needed growth.
....but she was not. Nor was she paying attention.
"Eep!!" She blinked and tried to skid to a hault as she dug her paws into the soft sand...yet completely did not notice the turtle in her path before she toppled head over heels into the sand. The turtle quickly retracted into its shell at the impact, being flipped into its back as the blonde pup whined and tried to stand despite the mess which was her tangled limbs.
Why was it always her? Why?

His brows knitted as he trailed behind, paws sweeping off the ground as his white tipped tail rose behind him; the wind caressing against his fur as he darted quick but, sadly, not as quick as Binid.
It was true that she was older and she was growing as she was larger than Dax and his siblings but Dax could feel his body adapting to change, his body becoming stronger, toned and more defined.
Though he was smaller now, he could be sure that once he became an adolescent his growth spurt would place him around Binid's own height and perhaps even taller, faster, stronger too.
Davon sunk to the back of his mind, his presence vauge as the two had built a mutual bond of trust and a boundary which was never to be crossed. Wolf and wolf- or perhaps in this case it would be best to say wolf and demon for that was what Davon was- he was an inner demon whose guidance and loyalty could help assure one who heeded his impressions and ideas to success, victory and honor.
"Easy? Pft, easy tasks lead to bigger conquests," he smirked, icy orbs narrowing towards the blonde pup.
Before he could say anything else, Dax seemed to helplessly watch as the female stumbled over a small turtle and tumbled into the sandy banks of the river. As his maw gaped open slightly, the black and white swirled pup perked his ears forwards as he ran faster.
"Bindi! Are you okay?" He rushed to her side, nuzzling off the sand from her face and slipping in a small lick on her maw.

"Errgghh.." Groaning softly, she slowly moved her legs out from the crumpled positions they were in under her body. Closing her eyes with an exasperated sigh, the sunny teen rolled onto her belly before hearing the rush of Dax's footsteps close in and stop at her side. With a faint grin on her face mostly from embarassment, she knew that he probably would have seen the turtle....he was always more aware than she about his surroundings. Oi...why was she so out of it lately?
"I'm okay....my pride's a little hurt though."
She confessed lightly with a faint chuckle, grateful that he took a moment to remove the sand from her face. However, something strange happened when she felt the roll of his tongue along her muzzle.
Swallowing hard, Bindi was confused on why her heart suddenly skipped a beat at such a simple gesture. It wasn't like it never happened before, so why was this suddenly any different? Biting her tongue lightly, she racked her brain on any possible meaning for this sudden emotional fluster which had he unable to even usher a word. Perhaps it had something to do with her growing body? Yet what could have possibly made her face burn up at the lick of her own brother...?
Shaking her head lightly, she abruptly stood up and shook out her pelt although her paw did feel a little hot and achey so she kept the weight off of it. Casting a glance over to the turtle she blinked and gave a curious look to the little shelled creature.
"What's that..??" Bindi smiled, curious of the little creature.

His muzzle drifted from her maw to he cheek as his icy orbs were knitted with concern. Dax's ears flickered, stepping back as she rose to her paws and found her interest cuaght by the strange creature that seemed to be suspended on its back.
Davon stirred within his mind, his presence feeling as if an inner blush and small grin was curling about, his stomach knotting and his paws feeling sweaty and a bit clammy. The white and black swirled pup shook his head. These wash of new feelings were certainly...odd. Very strange and something he hadn't experienced before.
You would give your very life for her, wouldn't you Dax? Davon echoed within his mind, calm and rather curious although he knew the answer.
"I would put everything on the line for her- fight for her, die for her. She makes me feel like I'm not alone and that some else cares for me. With her, I don't feel so empty...I feel-"
Complete? Davon frowned, his voice slightly aggitated.
Dax's ears fell against his skull as a small hackle rose from his throat.
"You have your orders to affect me when I must fight, when I need reason and logic to save my life. Leave me alone...this is my time."
Davons infuence withdrew to the back of his mind, uneeded, unwanted. Dax was getting better at controling him but if only realized that soon he would not have the same ability at controling the demon within. Davon obeyed, but he would have his reign.
Shaking his head and snorting a short breath, Dax tilted his head and peered at the strange creature. "I don't know....it looks kinda weird." Padding up closer, Dax battered the strange thing with his paw and skidded it across the sand.
"We can make up a game with it..."

Tearing her sights from the turtle and back to Dax as he remained unusually quite, even snarling ever so slightly, she often wondered what he was exactly thinking. It was a shame she couldn't read minds, but instead she was left in the dark.
Perking as he moved to the turtle, her eyes watched with intrest as it skidded along the sand. How delightful! As her tail began to wag, she padded with a slight limp on her frontal right paw. In all honestly though it didn't really hurt; just a little tender and thus she didn't pay much mind to it. Passing Dax and crouching down, she peered at the turtle inside the shell - it seemed unharmed and fine at the little game which was forming in her mind.
"Its really hard! But the thing inside is soft....I wonder what it is."
Tilting her head to the side, Bindi sniffed it as he tail seemed to have picked up pace as it thrashed back and forth behind her. Casting a glance to Dax, she batted the shell back to him as it skidded lightly across the sand. Most excellent!! Trotting back over to to the ebony male she placed her nose on his and grinned mischeviously.
"Ohhhh, what game shall we play? It looks like its really good at sliding!"
