There have been reports of a Federation team making their way through Zeon territory towards one of our supply bases. Intercept and destroy hostiles.
Main Mission Objective:
Locate and destroy hostiles in Zeon territory
Difficulty:
Medium
Requirements:
You must be a registered Mobile Suit pilot.
You can use one of the spare MS-09 Dom MS or your own.
NPC Enemy forces:
RX-79[G] Ground Gundam x4
RGM-79 GM x2
RGM-79[G] GM Sniper x1
RX-75 Guntank Mass Production Type x1
Spare MS Units:
-MS-09 Dom (Default Armaments plus 90mm machine gun) x3
Terrain:
Jungle
Registered pilots/MS:
- Kenji Strife - MS-14 Gelgoog
- Kuro Hishikami - MS-06JC Zaku II
- Alagus Redroot - MS-09 Dom(using 1 of the available spare Dom's)
- None
[There will be 3-4 pilots needed, will start with 3 if 4th cannot be found]
Edit: Operation begun, 4th will not be needed now.

Hopping up onto the side of the Samson truck that his Gelgoog was laying in he would allow his eyes to wander the length of the suit before looking out at the jungle before him. It had been a while since he led a team but here he was again. Climbing up onto the Gelgoog he would make his way over to the open cockpit door and reach down inside, pulling out a laptop that was attached to the main computer. Pressing a few buttons he would bring up the suits schematics and begin looking them over, making any last minute adjustments he thought necessary while he waited for the rest of the trucks to catch up. He had left slightly earlier than the others, wanting this moment of quiet before the upcoming battle.

Kuro hops into the Tan-chan and goes over a quick systems check. He then has the Tan-Chan snatch up one of the spare Dom's Heat sabers and launched after the CO.
Kuro:"So, any clue about their reenforcements? Could they get any?"

Alagus lifts open the cockpit door, expecting none better than what is seen. He thinks to himself, "What else can you hope for from a used mobile suit?" He seats himself in the cockpit and fires up the Dom. The Dom starts up much more clear than he had originally thought, from the condition of the cockpit, of course. "Magnificent," he whispers through the com system, "A brilliant piece of machinery." Back to his senses, he says, louder now, "What are the orders, sir?" through the system, to the command deck.

((Alright, we'll go ahead and start)) Seeing Kuro's suit approaching holding one of the Dom's Heat Rods he would chuckle to himself. "Nice." He would say to himself before hearing Kuro's voice coming over the comm and moments later Alagus's voice joining as well. Reaching down into the cockpit he would activate the comm on his end.
Slipping the laptop back into the cockpit he would slide in as well and begin going through power up procedures. With that he would finish the power up sequences, the suits eyes flashing green as the main cameras came online. Making a final adjustment to the targeting computer he would bring the suit up to its feet, stepping off of the truck it had been brough on.

"Sounds easy enough."
Kuro spotted the group just ahead, clustered together to make one nice, big target.
"And look! they're a bunch of newbies! Looks like it's our lucky day!"
Kuro whipped out his bazooka and emptied all three rounds at the cluster of feddie units.
((Note:I'll roll to see how many I hit. There's no way an ambush like that wouldn't kill a single unit, so it should be fine.))
((Well, gee, I didn't expect to kill EVERY SINGLE ONE... Okay, they've got reenforcements))
The whole lot of feddie units exploded in a firey mess, but Kuro caught one line right before the feds were blown away.
Fed Pilot:"AMBUSH! WE NEED REINFORCEMENTS! SEND THE PROTOTYPE-GAH!"
"...Oh, s**t, a feddie prototype... Let's hope it fights like our prototypes..."

((I'm gonna go ahead and post so I can steer this in a direction that will give us a bit of fun. You could have just decided that you hit 1 or 2 or something, no need for rolling. I like where you went with it though.))
Looking down to where Kuro was firing he would look over his sensor panel, and realize something instantly. Only one of the suits had a heat signature, the entire squad was a decoy. They were the ones in the ambush. His voice would cut as a shell rocketed up through the air, streaming back down in their direction. He would scream into the comms before pushing his suits thrusters to full, the Gelgoogs thrusters bursting to life, throwing the suit forewards. Skimming down the hill he would switch his sensors over to display heat signatures, allowing him to pick out the hotter suits against the slightly lighter jungle background. He would say as he watched one of the suits shoot off in Kuro's direction....something told him that was the prototype that was spoken of. Firing off a series of rounds into the direction of one of the other heat signatures he would be rewarded with the sounds of resulting explosions as the heat signature fell to the ground.
((o_O There, we've still got multiple targets, plus the prospect of a prototype in the mix.))

Kuro spun around and threw his spent bazooka into a nearby feddy suit - A RX-79 - and then activated the Heat saber, gripping it like a Katana. That's when he saw it. A Gundam with white shins and upper arms, with green armor everywhere else. The gundam had 2 vulcan guns mounted in head, a cannon mounted on torso over right shoulder, 4 missile launchers mounted in shoulders and knees, and a 2-barrel hand beam gun.
"Oh, crap, I've spotted the Prototype!"

Alagus has the Dom pull out it's scattering beam gun and blasts it at the prototype gundam. Losing his cool, he screams, "Take this, pitiless federation bastards!"

((No prob, and btw, for future reference, the Scattering Beam Gun, is located in the Dom's chest.))
Hearing the other two pilots comments over the comm he would turn to move in their direction only to snap back in the direction he had been facing as he received a glimpse of a beam rifle shot ripping through his suit. Not even taking the time to realize that no shots had been fired at him he would squeeze the trigger on the right control stick, the suit mimicking his action by squeezing the trigger on the beam rifle. He would fire two shots into the woods in front of him, just before a RX-79[G] that now had a useless right arm came charging towards him. "Really...." Talking to nobody in particular he would sidestep the charging suit while returning the beam rifle to its spot on the back racks. Pulling forth the beam sword that had been stored on the suits back he would grip the control stick, pressing down on the activation button for the twin beam sword. The blades flaring to life he would charge in on the Gundam, weilding the weapon more like a staff he would spin it between two hands, slicing one blade through the suits backpack before following closely with the other blade. Knowing what would come next as the suits reactor overloaded he would push down on the thruster controls, sending his suit flying towards Kuro and Alagus as the Gundam exploded behind him, leaving a small clearing and crater in its wake.

Kuro boosted to the right, narrowly avoiding a beam, and threw the heat saber at the gundam prototype. It jumped over the saber, letting it slice through a GM that was behind it. Kuro then drew his rifle and emptied half a clip at the now airborn prototype.
