Well, despite the kick a** graphics, the beautiful flow of the cut scenes, the storyline trying to stick to the mythological characters to the bone, and great voice actors, this games is definitely your money's worth. The gore and blood gets bigger and bigger, the monsters are a bit tough, but worth to see the fighting sequences, and Cratos continues being the bad a** of Sparta. I definite keeper in my book.
Being a huge greek Myth geek, I enjoyed it from start to finish. At first I was worried. Why? Dunno. Once you play it, you forget of any worries. I am trying really hard not to give away any plots and neat tricks that Cratos comes across because I do not like to spoil games for anyone. But, if you don't have it, buy it. If you are short on cash, rent it! You will not be disappointed. blaugh
Does anyone out there agree with me or disagree?

OMG! Yes! Just watching how closely they follow the mythology of the characters was amazing. Even when I wasn't playing it and my friends were, I wanted to just sit and watch.

The first time I saw Gaia, my friend was playing it. I was on the computer and I just stopped. I got up and sat on the floor next to the screen going, "it's Gaia!" I was like a little kid. Only then did I knew I had to play it.

I just got it yesterday. I didn't want to stop playing it, but exhaustion and near passing out made me stop.
Of course, once I've replied to all my PMs, I'm going right back to it.

It is extremely addicting, but in a good way. You just want ot see what happens next as the story continues, though, at some points, you know what will happen. Plus, the graphics are breath taking, you want to see more.

I didn't stop for a long while. I just kept playing for a few hours.
Smashing the door into the face of the Horse Keeper was seriously way more satisfying than it probably should have been. Maybe I'm just evil. twisted
Right now, if I remember correctly, I've just gotten the Spear of Destiny, and am at the puzzle with that statue. I need to move it, though, to get it towards that pressure floor that closes the gate to those unmarked chests.

I've gotten farther. I'll just say, I have a severe love hate relationship with the Icarus Wings. Seriously.
Oh, and I think I'm almost done with the game. I'm in the Phoneix Chamber, at the Palace of the Fates.

Fun, but too short. I was waiting for someone else to post, but I don't think that's happening for awhile.
I havne't had the game that long, and I'm just an hour or two, if that, sans cutscenes, away from beating it for the second time. And I don't even play that much.

Mode or difficulty? I could play the whole game in Rage of the Titans mode, but I haven't done so.
I'm working through the difficulties, but I haven't been pushed to try for the harder ones yet.
