Saga bit his lip, frowning at the sea of legs. Or rather, what he could see now, was mainly a sea of legs. He was seated at the edge of the fountain, his legs swinging to and fro as he tried to find his mother among the crowds. Oh dear, it seems that his mother was missing... And at such a bad time too. With one blinded eye, people were starting to stare. After all, you don't see a child with one white, blind eye everyday.
He wasn't exactly feeling scared, more like worried. He had found the fountain made of white marble really beautiful, with crystal clear water being sprayed out of the top of a marble dolphin's blowhole. The dolphin itself was placed such that it looked like it was leaping out of the water in a perfect arch. The snout of the dolphin seemed like it was smiling... Attracted it to, he hadn't told his mother where he was heading to and left her while she was busy with searching for new clothes for him.
If she didn't know where he is, she would probably be unable to find him.
Saga let out a sigh, pulling at his long bangs, hoping that it would cover up his right eye. That way, maybe less people would stare. Besides, he had a feeling they were more interested in the fact that he was partly blinded rather than the fact that he was lost. Looking a round again, he silently hoped that his mother would come soon. Being lost in a shopping mall full of people wasn't his idea of 'fun'.

She slid into a spot next to Saga, throwing one white-clad arm over his shoulder in a gesture that was, perhaps, a little too friendly. With a glare that sent possibly well-meaning observers scurrying (but also possibly ill-meaning, so it was worth it) she scooted closer. "Hey there, little Saga!" A wide smile adorned Aure's (possibly) well-meaning face; her eyes were a little too bright to insinuate that she was not rabid (which she was not, most definately). As she sat to his right, she looked around. Where was nice Miss Dragain? "Are you lost?"

"Not lost," Saga protested, wondering if he should be frightened of the overly-friendly side of Aure, or glad for the company. Actually, he felt rather glad. Maybe she could help. FAterall, she was much older than him. He bit his lower lip, searching for a word to use for his current state that won't criticise his 'sense of direction'. Frowning slightly, the boy finally continued with a slight blush, "Just misplaced... That's all."

With a slight shift in smile, Aure patted him on the head. "It's okay to say you're lost," she said, sing-song. "Want me to help you find your mama, little Saga? I have free time, lots of it~ and nothing to do." There was no short break for an answer; his problem seemed to have become her problem, because she pulled him up by his elbow. "Which direction did you last see her in?"

"Misplaced..." Saga argued, pouting a little as he squirmed. Thinking for a while, he pointed to his left, at a shop some distance away. It was a shop that was selling children's clothing and accessories. He looked up at Aure, wondering if this was a good idea. What if his mother came here to look for him after they left? What if his mother had gone somewhere else to look? Or worse, what if she had went home already?
"I think... That it was that way..."

"Well, c'mon then!" She dragged him up by his elbow and made slow, ponderous progress through the crowd. Eventually, they figured out where she was going, and Aure found it a bit easier going then. "Then we'll go this way. If all else fails, we can go to Customer Service and get'em to ring you up there."

"Okay..." Saga replied with a frown. Using a finger to push up the sunglasses, he looked around for any sign of a dark blue haired woman clad in red and black. Of course, in the world behind these lenses, almost everyone look like they were dressed in black. He sighed, knowing himself, he would find it difficult to say 'no' to Aure when she gave her suggestions.
"She's not here."

Aure nodded firmly and dragged Saga out again. "We'll look in this area of the mall. And then if we don't find her, to Customer Service we go!" She kept one hand firmly under the young boy's elbow as she cleared a path through the people through the sheer unease she created in them. "So how've you been, little boy?"

"I'm not little," Saga protested as he tried to keep up with Aure's pace, stumbling as he was dragged through the mall. He had accidentally stepped on both his shoelaces and undone them. Now, he was trying not to trip over them. "But I've been okay... Other than..."
He paused and hesitated, before lowering his voice, "Losing my right eye..."

"You aren't even up to my shoulder," she said cheerfully. "You're little until I say so." Even the knowledge of Saga losing his ability to see didn't seem to faze her- she continued to drag him along and occasionally mutter apologies to those she pushed. "Sorry about your eye. What brought you and miss Dragain here?"

"Hm... Getting used to the eye. I lost it in a dream," He said, his tone one that was truthful. He paused, as he tried to keep up with Aure's speed, mutterig 'excuse me' to those who cared. He had lost count of the number of times that he had stepped on someone's shoes... Or toes.
"Mum wanted some new clothes for my siblings and I... What are you doing here?"

"That's an interesting way to lose an eye," she commented. She ignored his question and muddled her way into another clothing store, keeping a sharp eye out for Dragain. You never knew where you would find native Gaian adults. Alleyways, bathrooms, food courts, Spencer's...

"Can't we just go to the Customer Service counter?" He whined, trying to resist Aure's lead. He tugged her backwards despite knowing that he was obviously weaker than her, seeing that she was the older one. "It'll be quicker than wandering around like this."

Aure turned and smiled at Saga. "Are you really so eager to be rid of me, Saga?" She used a little girl's tearful voice, though her smile didn't shrink at all. "Aren't I any fun anymore?" She continued to drag him through the store.

Saga let out a sigh, and continued to be dragged around by Aure, "No... It's just that I want to see her as soon as possible. It's... No fun being... Well, displaced." He blushed, remembering how he got lost; by wandering away and staring at a fountain. That was a stupid and silly way to get lost.
