On November of 2006, the online servers for .hack//Fragment were put offline forever....a sad day in history it is...it may not have been a very great game, but still, it was .hack. Entertained me enough to like it.

Actually the reason it was put away is because it was unpopular. I read that they probably used Fragment to understand how online players interact each other so they can put those ideas into G.U. But yeah the game is put offline because it costed too much to sustain the servers with the amount of players they had (Very litte).

Fragment may have been shut down, but it still doesn't mean that it wont be a hit someday...with the technological advances we have made, virtual online gaming may be real...and if they make the game more online and available to other countries to make it into an MMORPG than an ORPG, it would make a lot out of all other countries

Why do that all for Fragment instead of using that technology to make a BETTER game, name it "Za Warudo" and release it throughout the world?
