Anyways, I thought it would be cool if people made ballet tek teks of themselves. Like, wearing all the things you do! In fact, it might be fun if you tekteked your ballet teachers or famous dancer too!

For those of you who don't know, tektek.org is a website where you can make dream avatars.

I had fun with it during christmas this past year. I started tekteking all the costumes that were in the nutcracker. What one's have you made?

Items:

Blonde Hair - Despite what my pictures show I am a blonde. Umm ignore the bangs and pretend there's one bun. (although I used to have bangs and wear 2 buns when I first started ballet)
Brown Eyes - I have brown eyes lol
Whitest Skin - My skin is freakishly white
Red Leotard - This is my class leotard. It's red to indicate that I am in level 3. We are required to wear it whenever we take pictures. Any other day we can pretty much wear whatever color. I really can't stand it though because the style we have to get is very unflattering. It's the camisole one with the straps you can change from criss cross to.. not criss crossed.
Pendant - I actually do have a little moon shaped austrian crystal pendant with a gold chain that I sometimes wear to ballet. Whenever someone compliments me on it I jokingly say "Thank you, it holds my imortality."
Poofy Ugly Black Shorts Things - Every ballet dancer must have some form of ugly black shorts. Mine are those black overall thingys they sell in discount dance magazine. but I fold them down and roll up the legs so they make shorts.
Tights - Enough said.
Pointe Shoes - I wear Grishko 2007's but I'm considering a new brand that has a higher vamp.

Items:

Black Choker - I have a black choker that I like to wear to ballet..
Black Leotard - Most of my leotards are black. I like them black. They need to be black..
Black Footless Tights - Who doesn't have black footless tights that they wear on the outside of their leotard? Well.. I do.

Items:

Hair - This is Pa De Quatre! It's old fashiony. This is the only dance where I was ever the lead so I'm very proud of it.
Dress - Umm this is the dress I wore. The bow on the back of the dress are the little wings.
Jewelry - I wore jewelry in this dance.
Flowers - I wore a flower crown.

My ballet outfit:

Hair: Blond
Eyes: Blue (yeah I'm dutch we have al lot people with blonde hair and blue eyes here razz )
Black suit: I'm always wearing a black ballet suit.
Shorts: We have to choose. Or a black skirt or black shorts. And I've chosen the shorts.
Toe shoes: I have simple shoes no pointe. crying
Stockings: I am always wearing pink stockings
Headband: I prefer a headband cause my hair is to short to make a knot.

My musical outfit:

Headband: And again there is the headband
Green sweater: It's a hurt-your-eyes green sweater with something like the lamp of alladin on it. It kinda freaks people out but I love it.
Black throusers: Simple sporty trousers.
Sneakers: Like the official used shoes.

My boombal outfit:

Blue skirt: Once bougt for fun. It has cute little shinging stars on it. ^^
White top: Boombal is very hot so I'm always wearing a sleeveless top.
White shoes: Actually they are brown. But all brown tektek shoes were way to ugly.
White headband: Same thing as above razz
White gloves: I prefer something around my arms so I'm often wearing arm warmers.

My warm-up outfit:

Hair: Brown. Pretend it's in a bun.
Eyes: Also brown. Jeesh, I'm boring.
Sweatshirt: I'm always wearing my blue cecchetti sweatshirt. It's uber comfy.
Sweatpants: My awful, old, gray sweatpants that are falling apart, but I can't bear to throw them away.
Headphones: I always have my iPod when warming up, helps me relax.
Socks: I'm famous for wearing strange socks.

My class outfit:

Leotard: I have to wear navy blue or red, but the blue looks better on me.
Tights: Duh
Point shoes: I have Bloch, but I HATE them so they're not staying long.
Shorts: My black booty shorts.

Mmk, here's pretty much what I wear to my normal class. Only, instead of being just red, the leotard is black with a red layer underneath that shows out the top. And sometimes I wear capris or legwarmers, but it's usually too hot. My hair is in fact long and light red and wavy. =]

I usually wear a tight, skinny fit long t-shirt and those poofy shorts low strung and down to my knees.

My hair is exactly like that. Sometimes I don't even put it up at all.

My slippers are peach, but I couldn't find those on tektek.

I couldn't find decent tights either.

...

Okay, revised me. I wear either black capris from my studio or those warm-up tights rolled into capris, over a red/berry colored leotard, with white tights.

headband: Blue one, because It matches
Leo: Has to be navy Blue, well acctualy depends what level you are, but you have to wear the right color in the right style.
skirt: Same color as Leo, must be on your waist, not aloud to wear shorts
Tights: ballet pink only.
Shoes: ither bloch flats or block points. depends on the class, must have ribbons.

As you can tell its a very traditional school, but I grew up there and don't know any different.

Omg they make you wear the same brand of pointe shoes??! That's terrible! Everyone has different feet and some brands just don't work for people! Tell me they at least work for you?
