As a male I have a terrible problem with lust, but I am also fighting and doing better everyday. At my church we have started a dude bible study over a book called Who Moved the Goal Post? So far I have read to chapter 7 out of 17 and its a very good book. Personally I felt like it was talking to me directly. It talks about ways to deal with your problem for lust. For an example pornagraphy, that you are not alone in the fight, and that their is a solution. If you have any ?s plz ask me. If you want to order the book or check it out. You could probably google it and find it. But if you are a girl, plz pray and help us guys in our lust problem. Pray for us and don't ridicule guys for lust.

confused Lust isn't healthy, and it's not an emotion. Having a sex drive is healthy, but that's an entirely different story. Lust is natural though, if that's what you were trying to say, Davis. It's natural, and it's a constant struggle.
I'll be praying for all of you that God will help you in overcomming your struggles with lust. :]
For anyone who might like some motivation to stay pure, there is a good Christian book by Elisabeth Elliot (whose husband was killed by Indians - the story that inspired 'End of the Spear') called 'Passion and Purity' that talks about the life of Jim Elliot and Elisabeth Elliot before they were married and their main focus remained strongly on God, even though they struggled to be with each other.

They wanted to marry, but they felt that what they were doing for God took priority. Jim Elliot told Elisabeth that if he were to ever marry that he would marry her, but that he didn't feel that it was the right timing. So it was a struggle for them to stay pure for one another between the five years that he said he wanted to marry her and when they actually married.
