I don't think Gaara is strait in canon-- I don't think he's
anything in canon, actually. If he did happen to develop a sexuality, though, I see him leaning more towards males. Anyway.

Diplomatic Relations is, like, the Read and be Converted fic of the relationship; nine out of ten recs, that's what you'll get (or what I got, anyway).
Anyway, links. Her stuff is mostly (if not all) divergence, just for fair warning. I don't usually read divergence, but there you go. They tend to be portrayed as switchers in her fics, too, which I also like.
Big Heart, Drunken FistA mostly humorous, slightly angsty one-shot. As the title suggests, Lee (accidentally) ingests alcohol. Much embarrassing craziness ensues. Slight divergence starting somewhere around the Sve Gaara Arc; Shukaku is still kicking around in Gaara's skull. Rated R for some reason O_o
Chicken Soup for the Demonic SoulAnother one-shot, this one a touch darker. It was apparently written as a sequel to
BHDF, but it can be read as a stand-alone (quite much so, as I fail to find a solid connection). Gaara comes down with a flu and Shukaku tries to take advantage. This one is only rated PG13, which works out.
Diplomatic RelationsTwenty-two chapters, ranging in rating from G to NC17, fluff to (layered) smut. Also a divergence involving Gaara keeping Shukaku, but a great read none-the-less. Mal's summary:
Rock Lee: Diplomatic Envoy to Sunagakure. There are so many ways that could go wrong. But Lee is determined to succeed! And to befriend the feared Kazekage too, while he's at it. Good thing Lee loves a challenge...(eventual LeeGaara) M/M
