Meaning: 'Little black one'.
Sex: Male
Spirit: Black Hole.
Appearance:
Hair: White afro, with added glitter of course.
Eyes: Blue/silver.
Skin: Pitch black.
Extra features: 'Freckles' which act as specks of pure white light against his skin.
Personality:
Devin is very loud and vivacious. He can be very flamboyant at times, in both his fashion sense and drama prone ways. Loving attention and craving compliments, he is the modern day 'metrosexual'.
A regular 'talk to the hand' doesn't go amiss, nor does behind back bitching, or even the occasional prep talk.
Albeit all this, he is generally very friendly and keen to make friends - and try to keep them. He claims 'prettier friends are easier to keep', and swamps others as 'beautiful' and 'great' as him with adoration and loyalty. Anyone out of place, or not with the trend, hip, fashion tip or latest design is not part of his 'clique' until deemed beautiful enough.
He remains loyal to those he keeps close, and listens to them intently, trying to help with their problems. But it's never guaranteed that the diva will use it against them or blackmail them in the future.
However, the child has an extremely large apatite and a seemingly high metabolism (never seeming to put on ANY weight). Hence the commonly used nickname 'Gobbler'. Anything shiny, gooey or -- nearby, is consumed immediately. It's considered a 'bad habit', but many overlook it as a possible disorder (which the 'Gobbler' will aim solve as he grows older).

Black Holes Black holes are the evolutionary endpoints of stars at least 10 to 15 times as massive as the Sun. If a star that massive or larger undergoes a supernova explosion, it may leave behind a fairly massive burned out stellar remnant. With no outward forces to oppose gravitational forces, the remnant will collapse in on itself. The star eventually collapses to the point of zero volume and infinite density, creating what is known as a " singularity ". As the density increases, the path of light rays emitted from the star are bent and eventually wrapped irrevocably around the star. Any emitted photons are trapped into an orbit by the intense gravitational field; they will never leave it. Because no light escapes after the star reaches this infinite density, it is called a black hole. But contrary to popular myth, a black hole is not a cosmic vacuum cleaner. If our Sun was suddenly replaced with a black hole of the same mass, the earth's orbit around the Sun would be unchanged. (Of course the Earth's temperature would change, and there would be no solar wind or solar magnetic storms affecting us.)

I love the concept! (And I have to give you kudos from one space nut to another.) The personality just seems to *work* for a black hole, and so does his appearance. biggrin
