1. They are Finnish like so many other great bands!
2. Chello! (cello + hello)
3. Like they say they are reinventing the cello

Well, fist of all, because they play metal with CELLOS!!! I mean, I didn´t even know what a Cello was before I heard about this guys!

I'd say because I'm a metal and classic music fan. This new s**t is just unique and it just touched my interests whee And what others said too.
Plus its just too intense to see them play xp

There are other bands that contain cellos... well like only one with a guitar a cello drums and bass etc. Max joined another band I believe

Nockz the Dark Cellist Does anyone else have the suspicion that apoc are going a tad mainstream? Perhaps in Europe but not in Canada very much so. Not even a single CD is available. I read somewhere about Eicca being concerned about going mainstream, if it would all ' go to their heads'. I think they will fine though.

I don't think they're really going mainstream in the UK. Hardly anyone I speak to has ever heard of them.

The only person that I've met here who knows about them was someone who saw them when they were the support act for Rammstein...

Well, being Finnish they HAVE to tour their home country! But I'm going to London to see them in December though, it should be very fun!
They were amazing when they played the Eurovision! So was Hanna Pakarinen, the Finnish entrant.
