((I apologize for the dumb rhyming title xD I couldn't help it, it's so silly!))

Safiya woke on another bright morning, filled with her usual optimism for a great day. Her plan for the day was this: Find Asi, nicely request a guided tour of his lands, and when she had him where he couldn't run away, ask him why his cubs - her new charges - had no mother.

It had been a while since she first came here and began to watch over the motherless cubs, and so far Safiya had been patient. The little ones were growing fast and needed less of her supervision every day. She enjoyed her job immensely and was very grateful to have the posisition, but her natural curiosity was beginning to kill her.

Safiya had a childlike naivete and a bubbly exterior, but she was not stupid. She knew there was some dark secret surrounding the motherless cubs and the grumpy Asi. She could see it in his eyes that something awful had happened, and had hoped for days that he would open up to her about it. So far it hadn't happened.

Enough was enough. Today she was going to come right out and ask him for the story.

Satisfied with her plan, Safiya put on a sweet face and set out to find the grumpy brown male.
